Sounds expensive, here T3 in that condition would cost about 1600-1800€.And this clean Vanagon GL I always see around. It's for sale to, I think on Craigslist it said 16K. This is different from the one I posted about a week or two ago.

12,500€(16,000$) is still quite large amount of money for T3. Considering that it's possible to get decent T2 for the same amount of money here.They're worth a decent bit here. This one is very clean though, interior is very nice and the paint is good. No noticeable flaws. Even so, I don't think its worth that much and doubt he'll get that. Generally from what I see the only Vanagons of that year (or around) that fetch that much are the Syncros.
They're not super common around here either.
