I see a couple-few Smart 4-2's a week, at least. But we have a Mercedes dealership in the neighborhood, so not surprising. They do look quite different from anything else on the road, so if you never see them, they might be eyebrow raising at least. But good cars? No.

we were passing at speed, not sure how this came out so sharp, lol!

did some ghetto spotting today, found some good stuff I'll share in the next couple days, but also in the ghetto is legendary mechanic Earl's place, so I swung by to see if he was working on any goodies. and boy was he! I'd spotted a 400gt 2+2 a few years ago and heard that the owner had since sold it. well, he's got another!

Well

That was an... uh... "exciting" last 7 pages. Some super awesome Mercedes and other stuff.
Here's some of my spots from the whole month. There's a few on my computer that I can't upload. Missed a ton of stuff today, including a repair shop that had a Viper, Bentley, Ferrari 430 and 458, Gallardo, as well as a cl63 and cls63.
going from newest to oldest spots:

Lastly, I decided to go somewhere I haven't been in a while. A house with an owner that seems to do projects with older cars. There were a couple of familiar things there, but I also noticed a red Charger, white GTO, and this Buick Centurion. I couldn't stop for the other cars, but I might be able to check them out tomorrow. That's if the weather doesn't annoy me.

my 2nd E24 M6!!! had a good half hour chat with the owner after pulling a u-turn and following a little way up the road to the rec center (I was like, PLEASE don't park next to anybody else!!) He was really cool... and he really loves Z's, too!

Yup! I was so focused on the Porsche (which also had tuned exhaust, interesting car) that I didn't notice the very cool Chevy until it was right in my face. Did get a better combo photo which I'll probably upload to Flickr soon, but it's a bit fuzzy so not real happy with it.

Pics I had on my computer but not my phone- again, these aren't exactly new spots...

fresh from Mecum, cool! and congrats on the new camera! still shooting with a cheap pocket digi myself, but I'm poor, and nothing else would let me capture spots like the 507 above, camera on and in hand while driving... also a lot of the "expert" carspotters I follow on Flickr set their shutter speed slower/F-stop higher to get more of a feel of motion that seems to work really well. Best of luck with the new camera! Certainly resolutions I'll never be able to achieve...

Thanks :) I've had it since Christmas time but I think I have the hang of it, for the most part. used it at three car shows thus far, as well as the Houston Auto Show and Mecum... I want to get more moving shots though, as that's what I was used to with my phone
