also in the news, spotted my 2nd NISMO... of the week!! the first was plated 1 OF 48, and is locally known. NI5MO is from out of town and hasn't been spotted in these parts yet. Yay!

Car spotting always dies down a bit here in the summer, so I amended that by going to Los Angeles and San Francisco this week. A couple Arizona spots:

Bonus: Trailblazer SS in the background.

See those misters in the background? They really like to crank those up in the summer months, so as you come through the 'main street' of this shopping area, it looks downright foggy.

Driving the I-10 from Phoenix to Los Angeles in the summer in a classic FJ40. I wonder if they had air conditioning, as they were cruising with the windows down both times I passed them.

This poor Ferrari got caught up in a long chain of traffic somewhere north of Santa Barbara.

@playnthru should recognize this scenery (and probably this same E-Type), because we stopped in San Luis Obispo briefly on Thursday to gas up.

Maybe it's a Chevy Sprint, maybe it's a Suzuki Swift. The front clip says Chevy, the hood says Suzuki, the front fender says Suzuki, the door says Chevy, and the hatch says Chevy.

@Pinkintron and I went into this small parking garage in San Francisco to check out this GTV, as I knew @Davis liked them a whole lot. The manager of the garage saw us and unlocked the Alfa to give us a look inside - not that he could understand why we would be interested in a beat-up old car like this.

He had nothing else going on at the moment, so he got in this M3 and showed it off to us.

Found a little Alfa/Mercedes-Benz shop, which this was parked in front of. A peek inside revealed a smattering of vintage spiders and a single R107 SL.

Came back through San Luis Obispo for a bit longer on Saturday.

Pretty sure @playnthru snapped this one just a couple days before me.

Went down to Beverly Hills to hang out for a bit before resuming the journey back to Phoenix and inevitably saw some good stuff in the neighborhoods.

Bonus: G63 AMG.

Bonus: RS5.

Just 2 cars I saw recently. I mean, I saw other cars, but I wasn't in a situation where I could take pictures.

I think this might be the first 2013+ Ford Taurus SHO I've spotted in the wild.

Well, it seems I have my first wild spot of a car that wasn't sold in the US; an early 00s VW Polo. It's actually the first car in a while I actually chased after a bit just for a picture. I really don't do that often.

Earlier today I was going with my friend to have a nice fire by the river, when I noticed a bright white car on someone's drive. Took a closer look:

Porsche 911 (930), project car. Missing headlights and the wing mirror was broken. God knows what else.

I'll be keeping an eye out for it next time I'm in that area and see if there's been any progress. And definitely not stalking it

GT500 outside one of the big tuning shops here in the city, so you can be sure it's got POWAH. Those wheels, tho.

This thing was low. Seat Leon Cupra R with thew optional Sport fascias, some pokey wheels, and obviously modified. Poser or ocassional track car? Who knows, I've never seen it run.

This '76 Trans Am with Shaker Scoop just popped up one day near work and has been there ever since, BUT! It later on received a good coat of orange. Will post it later with its newly-acquired hue.

I understand these are rare as all the heck. Anyone care to inform to-lazy-to-look-for-it Cano what is up with these? They look pretty awesome.

A rare '66 Mustang ragtop. I understand that convertibles were special-order only in Mexico, so they are not common at all over here.
