I think I may know where that was converted - there's a place in Sunshine West which do them. I can't remember the name of the place.

It's hard to believe something so beautiful would go anywhere near Scumshine by choice You'd drive through it if you had to but, wouldn't want to sit at a red light for too long. Locking the doors might help

They were probably converted, probably still left hand drive.

The US was going to get a Pontiac G8 ST, based on the Commodore Utility. It was announced as a 2010 model, but then GM killed Pontiac and we never got it. I believe Australians got both sedan and utility versions of the Commodore with the G8 bodywork just to use up the body panels already produced.
