Did You See Anything Good Today? [Read First Post]

Looks like someone's SoCal project.
The odd thing is when you look at it, it has an oval rear window and a circa 1956 bullet turn signal (one) with a ‘62 or earlier hood but it has ‘65 and later side glass and windshield. It has later fenders because you can see holes at the tops of them for later turn signals.
So from the looks of it they’re trying to do an oval conversion. I’m gonna say the car is a 1965 because it has the domed hubcaps as opposed to the flat ones of 1966 and later but I could be wrong.

Filling up with petrol today, I saw this 1959 Porsche, beautiful condition , in and out... Spoke to the owner (well spoken, American accent, maybe in his 50s, very polite) who said it was a handful to drive...

Do I get a cookie for this?

Spot of the year so far. Completely stock, mint condition 1997 Supra Twin Turbo at my office on Montana plates. Who even knows how much something like this would sell for nowadays. Probably not too far from $100k.

I’d hate to break to you but that’s a McLaren 570s.
Ya that’s not a P1 View attachment 903154
This is a P1.
I gotcha. I thought it seemed a little off to be a P1 after I posted it, but I wasn’t sure what. (I’m not much of a car guy)
Nevertheless still just as cool of a find!
Yep. I got to see the passenger door open and close and I even seen heat emitting from the engine, it was pretty neat! I really wish I could’ve gotten closer and looked at it a lot more, never seen one of these before until now!

Long time no see this thread...

Spotted this today on my way from work. Takumi delivers tofu to the Russians in self-isolation.

I found the owner and the story of this car on the Internet. He says it's actually an AE85 with an AE86 engine (4A-GE).

And some earlier spots of this month:

Don't worry about it. I was calling this the P1 after seeing Jenson Button pull up and get out. The guy guarding the car, told me it what it was. ;)
