You originally guessed it was an MG or Triumph. Then four minutes after I correctly identified it as a Fiat, you changed your post so it would look like you had the right answer first. That's kind of... sad.
Are we really doing this? Believe it or not, I actually didn't see your post before i edited mine, because the page still had to refresh. So this accusation is (ironically) even more "kind of... sad".

Yes, i should've just done an edit and left the original guess there, but no, i actually did not change my original post just because you had apparantly posted the right answer (which again, didn't even show up in my feed after editing my own post) in the 4 minutes between me posting a guess, realizing it wasn't a MG Midget and reverse image searching his picture of the Fiat, then editing my post with the actual correct answer.

Funny thing is, i sort of saw this coming as soon as i refreshed the page and saw your post. In fact, even after correcting my answer i was still not sure if it was a Fiat, but when i saw your post i was happy that it actually was. You didn't have to be this petty about it dude. Accusations like this are just silly. I had no intention to look like i had the answer first, even though i can understand you think i did.

But next time, just ask, instead of randomly throwing out accusations.
The way you're saying this so confidently even though you're completely wrong is not a good look my friend. Do better.

Spotted this yesterday, not sure if it should be here or in the Questionable Modifications thread though:

It says F-150 Platinum on the sides, but Lobo Platinum on the tailgate. Mexico import or US/Canada import? I'd say probably the former but you never know.

Never really paid attention in the past year or so... Have always seen this car in my neighborhood, but never look closer at what it is... Until today as I rode my bike with my children at the end of the day, I suddenly took a second look

Wasn't expecting one of my neighbors to drive such a car
.. maybe I should talk to him and find out

Wow Crazy, I think the ones with this body type are even rarer
Yeah, the 250 GTO that’s been in the Gran Turismo series for some time has the original bodywork, whereas CN.4091 here had the “series 2” bodywork installed within a year or two after its initial delivery in the early 1960s. I think only six or seven 250 GTOs had the series 2 bodywork installed, too, with about 36 being made in total.

I even found a site that seems to catalog the entire history of various individual Ferrari cars, with the page for 250 GTO CN.4091 being right here:

Seems to show the car’s sporting history, which events it had appeared at, and even its owner history. It’s been owned by a certain Peter G. Sachs since 1981 - a resident of Stamford, CT at that! It was apparently in silver initially, but repainted to dark red around 1974.

Yeah, but why this one? Not most beautiful, not most successful and not rarest. Some typical Ferrari trickery.
Not sure you can blame Ferrari for the high prices of long since ‘used’ cars.

Beauty is subjective but many think the 250GTO is the most beautiful, certainly one of. And it’s hard to argue that many other road-legal cars were more successful in period. At least on the international stage. If it was any rarer it never would have been as successful as it was. It’s a combination of factors that has kept is as one of the most sort after and valuable cars since the early 70s.

I think a lot comes from it being considered hitting the perfect spot between being a great performing and handling car for the track and the road, being very beautiful, not too aggressive, not too handsome looking, coming from the peak of the golden era of car design (designed by Scaglietti which also isn’t unimportant), being a Ferrari and having a good racing history.
I think it just represents everything people love about Ferraris, and has a good portion of racing DNA in it, but at the same time it’s bridging the gap to the road cars too, and comes from an era in which Ferrari was still kind of fresh, was still building the legacy it has today, dominating in Motorsports.

That’s just my explanation for this.
