It's not about that M_Y, it's a feeling that runs through your veins when YOU imagine yourself driving that car. Sure it's common for you to see them but have you driven them yet? EVERYDAY? those are type of cars that when you own one, it is never boring to drive them, not even if you've one for like 3 years...My front door neighboor drives a sweet purple-ish porche and I see it and hear it every morning, is it boring? NO!, because you just think, "ohh one of these days I'll get me one of those", and thus, the fantasy begins.

Just wanted to clear that out ;)...and you know what? as a matter of fact, i'm gonna go take a pic of it right now! I'll come back

Ciao....
Aparently you have missed the point.. Like the thread says "Have you seen anything good today" it's not "Did you see any fun cars to drive today?"
In my eyes any car can be fun. Speically the crappy cars. Of coarse a M3 isn't boring to drive, there amazing machines... I'm just saying there boring to see alot of the time, cause i see them so often..

Anyways I was riding my bike to school today, and parked was a Silver Porsche GT.. I was late for school, and i didn't have a camera.. But i swear to your god, I saw one.. It's not like it rare to see nice cars here anyways.. Marin is nutorious for being very wealthy.... But it's over priced here..

Ok...i'm just gonna say one thing. please read the post below the one that you quoted ( the one NismoR34Ztune wrote ) he complements my comment, it says is not only about that but looking at it in detail. If you see where we're going M_Y, then you'll understand why we don't feel that seeing an M3 or M5 is boring. Also the fact that you live in a wealthy area may be another reason why you don't get too excited when seeing a nice expensive car. For me is different.

LOL!! I think I wrote more than one thing huh? :P

Its like those Altima/Maxima/Whateverima commercials where the guy touches it and feels a rush of adrenaline. Except we only have to see it, the M cars are so great. Anyway just cause you're rich doesnt mean we are. Hell, Im like ghetto. Except less than a mile away is an exotic car dealership, and many other nice cars.

And what exotic car dealership is that Rogue? KIA?
J/K dude :D

Ciao...

Well there IS a Kia dealer..
But Ill have you know there is also FIZZ autosports, Bimmers & Benz, BMW Dealer of Bayside, Mercedes of Bayside, Volkswagen of Bayside, Pimped-out (some of them) Used Cheap Cars of Bayside, Car Audio & Specialty shop, Nissan of Bayside, Toyota of Bayside, and Subaru of Bayside, which has a gleaming red Ferrari TestRossa sitting in the window.
Pics by Monday, as I promised.

Well.. I have a Ferrari/Masterati dealer ship... Aston Martin/Jaguar?Land Rover dealer ship, Autobauhn dealer ship, which is just a bucn of fast german cars, a Porsche Dealer ship, AND a Exotic Car/Classic car dealer ship, all within 7 miles from were i live.. But we have lots of other dealers like Mitsubishi that has like 12 Evo 8's in it, we have pretty much everything... The Lambo dealer is in SF.

Well it was a Carrera GT, it was like... WTF! I was sooo close to just jumping in it, and taking off... The police couldn't catch me i nthere stupid Crown Victorias...

No McLaren, I believe you. The "disbelief" is meant to be expressing my face like this ---->

Sorry for the confusion. Yeah, Monacoians (sp?) are one of the richest in the world.

Yesterday

Lamborghini Gallardo in white
Ferrari Testarossa in Blue
Lamborghini Countach LP5000S in Silver

...and it was raining too. Only expect to see these out in the sun! Sorry about the lack of piccies, no camera!

I saw a red Enzo around Trafalgar Square, where it made some great noises, and again near Chinatown nearby. I was quite far away in both cases though so it looked quite ordinary, especially after seeing some Murcielagos and Roadsters up close in a showroom window last night. Then I saw a dark DB9 Volante and didn't take a second glance...

For me the Enzo is nowhere near the F50, the best super Ferrari according to Evo magazine, and personally my favourite car ever. If I saw an F50 I would really feel lucky.

Sorry for the double post.

Anyways I also saw another silver 635csi within biking distance, but didnt bother to go out of my way to snap a photo.
Bimmers and Benz is really going downhill lately. A few years ago I woulda had a Diablo, Countach, 911 slant-nose, 360 Modena, and multiple Maseratis and Astons, as well as at least 3 8seriess. But now all they have is the above and a few benzes and bimmers and land rovers and A G35!!! Japanese car!!!

I finally saw a M5 this morning at a golf club...and guess what, my infamous camera phone's battery was dead, I didn't charge it last nigh :ouch: , so I couldn't take a pic :(

BTW, Rogue I didn't know you lived in Bayside, I know that place fairly well 👍, and I've seen those Evo's you've posted there.

Ciao...

Wow, after coming home today, it felt so good to actually not see a Mercedes, BMW, or Porsche everywhere I went.

The Airport wasn't bad. A 911 Turbo was the only thing I captured on what was left of my film.

As for dealers, I think Collin County has it won.:sly:
I'll be heading to Lamborghini of Dallas sometime next week, so I'll get some shots of that SAME red Saleen S7 that's been there for months.

You do? You live in NY?
Cool!

Evos? What Evos those are WRXs.

Yeah..I meant those WRXs , I guess they're still fresh in my mind after reading the "mitsubishi could be leaving soon" thread :indiff:

I saw a Banana Yellow Charger Daytona today, outside my house. In the rain!

Also saw a Charger SRT-8. Sounded awesome!

i'm going to have to start carrying a camera with me because there are a lot of AWESOME cars around...some that i have seen in past months include:

Green murcielago
black murcielago
blue gallardo
blue ford GT
white ford GT (my cousins neighbor)
red ford GT (Same owner as the blue one)
gray ford GT
red ferrari 430
white continental GT
black Continental GT
red ferrari 360
silver lotus esprit turbo
lotus elise (honda dealer employee)
yellow elise
green elise
orange elise
orange diablo SV at the bank
black SL65 AMG in the eastern portion of my town
multiple SL55's and 500's
New M5 at my work
among others
i'll start taking pictures:)

Saw one of these little beauties today, a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus. In road trim it had a 160bhp Lotus engine, RWD and a suspension setup that made it ... 'edgy' off the power. In, what, 1980? Rally career was spoiled somewhat by the Quattro, but it's still a cracking car...

Also saw a car park full of brand new Mitsubishi Evos. Are we up to IX yet? or is it still VIII? Anyway, I had to deliver some oil to the import centre at Bristol docks and there they were...

And the only Corvette with a DOHC engine in it, too. They're rare, I haven't seen one at all yet!

I've seen a Jetta VR6, if you consider that to be rare...

Damn. I really need to stop leaving my phone in inconvenient places whenever I drive around. Because today I saw TWO Maserati Quattroportes. The first was a champagne/bronze color. The other was navy blue. I actually rolled (well pushed a button) down my window to hear it, just because I could . . .

Corvette Stingray in Aqua/Turquoise. I don't know about this car but it was a convertible/roofless model and didn't sound amazing, maybe due to the fact it was slowly pulling away from traffic lights. It was too far away for me to use my phone to take a pic. This was also outside my local car hotspot, Tescos carpark!!! :sly:
