I'm dead sure I saw a koenigsegg yesterday on the way to school, it came over the brow of a hill with the headlights on and the roof was off, 90 degrees to my left. The headlight shapes resembled the CC8S and it was extremely wide and low. I was gutted there wasnt an opportunity for me to take a photo.

Daventry seems to attract alot of nice cars for such a small area, I've seen an Ultima GTR, Ford GT, AMV8, Holden Ute, F430, 512M and more.
:(

looks like a R230 body SL, not particularly rare unless it's an AMG or V-12 model. Even more so if it's both
The car looked bigger than a SL 230.
Close. Except the Alloys (granted they can be changed), bonnet scoop shape, front bumper and colour say Impreza STI. Rear spoiler shape says Version IV so I am guessing Subaru Impreza STI Version IV.

👍 We didn't get a 2.5 Impreza in Europe until very recently and i don't think they were ever badged 'RS' here either.

6 series with m6 wheels and quad exhausts,doesnt have M6 mirrors ;)

Or the side vents behind the front wheels.
Thanks to all for the information.👍
or the M badge :dunce:

^^
A badge can allways be taken of or put on.;)

to be honest, I've seen more M badged cars that are NOT originally M badged than the other way around.

I'm going to wait for laughter from our British members, but I saw a Sterling 827 today on the way to work. It's basically a Rover 800 for America.

The next big thing in wheels?... :D

They are slave wheels - if wheels don't pass inspection at point of fit due to any reason, a 'slave' is fitted. They're painted different colours so they don't get shipped with a car. Recently, the boys in the AM shed have been having fun, and there are pink sets, paint-spatter sets, marble sets, all sorts. This pair of metallics fitted to a Federal -spec Roadster caught a friend's eye on a tour.

And yes, those are production DBS in the background.

What do you mean by "inspection"? Dings and scratches? Or a poor, weak casting? If a customer wants these colors on their car can he request them?

Took this a month or so ago on my camera phone. It came out better than I expected. Ignore the fact the driver's door mirror is missing; it got removed by a car whilst I was parked in a small side street.

DB9.

I imagine it means that the rim or tire isn't stable or up to factory's standard. In other words, something like you said.

I don't believe the customer can order their rims like this, though. I think the only wheels offered like that are standard, the darkened ones, and chrome.

Visual inspection. Paint and or dink damage in transit. And yes, occasionally a bad tyre.

And no, the customer cannot order rims like this. :)

For 08MY Vantage, there at the 18" 10 spokes, and 19" 7 spokes in silver or anthracite. If you've seen chrome ex-dealer, then that's the dealer chroming the rims. Also, the N400s are getting the DB9 Sport pack wheel, but powder coated graphite instead of silver before the diamond turning. Tasty.

For 09MY, there are sexy new rims for both DB9 and V8. ;)

I know everyone here but me hates the Mustang--but who cares.

Talked with the guy for a couple of minutes, nice guy. It (his Roush) was one of the last cars Troy Aikman Ford sold before it folded. He looked inside my Camaro and asked me the most intelligent question anybody has asked me yet..."When's the project going to be complete?". I promptly thanked him for asking me the most intelligent question I've been asked about my Camaro and simply told him "a year or two". :D I like talking with car guys who are intelligent. Just thought I'd share my little story--especially since I've had a truely rotten day.

Haven't really been out for a week or so, so no photos of any signifigance. This breathed on DC2 has been sitting outside my house for the past week though, so I thought I may as well take a piccie of it.

The more eagle eyed of you may notice the spoiler of a JDM spec current gen Civic Type-R on the right. I've also seen a DC5 Type-R, EK9 Type-R and an EG6 Type-R in his parking spaces.. oh and an NS-X. The family must have some sort of Honda fetish.

Please don't tell us that those hideous sub-Project Kahn style wheels that the 2 Astons on the front cover of the previous edition of Evo are the direction that AM are going with rims? :yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

I always thought it amusing (yet slightly irritating) that all companies like you mention ever did was put offensively large wheels on pretentious cars, tint the windows and paint some bits of the car body colour then sell them at a premium. Now they seem to be making body kits for Astons etc. It seems as though the current generation of supercar buyers have no taste whatsoever. I should pull my finger out one day and start making body kits for high-end cars. I know so many people who own plastic and metal product manafacturers over the border that it wouldn't be difficult, but I don't think I'd feel comfortable charging extortionate prices for stuff that costs next to nothing to make.

Now I want to see an S5 (I think it's an S5 in that picture?) in person. It looks stunning in that picture!

Speaking of, I saw the first A5 I've seen in the States yesterday. Temp plates indicating it was purchased yesterday, too. No photo but it's in my girlfriend's community so I could get a photo whenever. Looked cool.
