harry was that Gallardo really in the UN parking deck? Did it have diplo plates?!
No diplo plates, but it was indeed the UN garage. By far the most interesting car there; surrounded by Lexus LS460's, Merc S-class's, and the occaisional previous-gen Bentley/Rolls. I thought I'd have to really sneak the camera shot, but the valet gave me the 👍.
Is that a house or a Golf Club?!
It's a McMansion. Seriously. While that may have sold for $US3-4 million, it's nowhere near worth it. Cheap build quality, off-the-shelf architectual plans, and generic materials...and not enough property. Generally afforded on one of those cute sub-prime mortgages. Look to pick one up on the foreclosure market soon. It's okay, but if I had the money, I wouldn't bother. I'd trade half the square footage for infinitely more character. I've been in more of those awfully wasteful things than I care to count.
But I give the owner props for choice of vehicle, and to you for the photo. 👍

The one Joey saw more than likely came from Greenwich's Miller Motorcars, which have recieved the first 3 8Cs in the US. As Doug noted, Jim's was also one of these 3.
From
Greenwich CT to Michigan?
Surely they could find one closer than that.
Godddammit Harry how I love your posts, I know this is old but I had not visited the forums in a while. You seem to be the only one that finds this kind of cars in a regular basis. Keep them freaking coming, hell, follow them just like you did with the Porsche! (:
Thanks. I really do keep trying, despite not succeeding often. I don't get the fish-in-a-barrel runs like Doug and Rue do (
case in point), but I try to make up for it with interesting text.

And the Ford is a 28-29 Model A Pickup, if I saw the front I could tell you the exact year, but no F100, F100s appeared in 1951 (:
Ah. Thanks. So it's even older than I thought. Cool!
Not to nit-pick an otherwise kick-ass post, but you
did post a McF1....
The G55 had a side-exit exhaust.

The GT3 was not available with a sunroof. And those are way too many french fries.
But I do have something of my own to post:
Bentley Continental T
I know this guy has lots of stuff stashed away. I
know it. I should probably just drive by more often, like a good stalker should....
Packard 180 1941
I've now seen three different Packards at this one location, always facing the same way, always with great lighting. Somewhere, someone or something is telling me something about my alma mater.
Ferrari 430 Spider
Had I seen this anywhere else, on the road perhaps, I might have not put much of an effort to take the photo. They're not common, but not super-rare enough for me to run after him (unlike the GT2 last time). But this gets notice from me because it appears to be supercar #4 that this same guy drives to work. That makes it a Ford GT, a Carrera GT, an SL600, and the 430 Spider. A quick calculation of basic list prices total that at US$933,000. List price. Realistically, it's well over a million. Driven to work. Daily. Over graunching speed bumps.
At least he waits for the sunnier days. (And, yes, while it's dealer plates in the photos, the car was there the next day without them.)
