I saw an orange Lambo on my way home from Reno yesterday. My mom didn't get the camera out fast enough and it got away for about ten minutes. Then we caught up to it and then this stupid suburban switched lanes right behind it. :ouch: We ended up doing about 90 mph in the F-350 trying to catch it. :scared: never did get a picture of it though. It had a top speed advantage and wasn't running a diesel engine like we were. Silly Ford should have put a much higher speed tranny in it. Like really what good is 400 or so horses if you can only go up to 95?

Also I found out that there is some old Citroen, and a VW Thing near my school, I'll try and get some pictures of them.

All-season daily that's always around the corner from me, hoping to get some nicer shots. I'm still posting new M3s because I was really expecting to see far more of them. At the rate the newer coupes were showing up and at the amount of e46 M3s on the roads, I thought the new ones would be everywhere.

Aaaand a ballin' Gallardo leaving my friend's building. Loud as heck.

So Sage, you must live in a pretty "well off" area :)
Nope, just college students and old people, and everybody drives Corollas or Jettas. That car had a dealer plate, so… probably just a case of somebody knowing somebody to get a treat this morning.

Ah, ok. Well, I'd take your word over my own assumptions any day Harry. Still, it looked cool all blacked out with those Brabus wheels.

That's okay. I tend to be a little too pedantic sometimes. You more than make up for it with any other post. 👍

Ford Mustang GT "100th Anniversary"

I was not aware of any 100th anniversary Ford anything, other than the Ford GT being the unofficial anniversary car. Is there anything to this other than a cheap plastic badge?

BMW M5 1999

The more I see this car, and the older it gets, the more I think I'll buy one. I have yet to see one in poor condition, too, which bodes well I think.

Lamborghini Gallardo 2004

Finally, for me, a Gallardo is not the highlight of a post. Nice though it is, it's not my pick of the day.

Ferrari 430 Spider

Since I said that this guy (who owns the Carrera GT and Ford GT) had purchased it, I figured I should show proof. I should also open up a pool to see what he buys next.

Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona

Months of 'stalking' this house have finally paid off. I feel so awkward going into this cul-de-sac, but today I looped around it three times, just to make sure I got some decent photos. Outside of Miller Motorcars and Ferrari Manhattan, I've never seen one, and never seen one at all in silver. I think this is my best spot ever, including the F40. I can't remember finding anything rarer or better.

One last, unrelated note. My avatar was updated. But it's not that it was just updated, but it was done by my true love, morganlives. Thanks, doll. You're the best. :D

Considering them make 100 million editions of the Mustang I wouldn't be surprised, seems with a Google search a few show up.

Awesome spot on the Daytona, beautiful car, truly one of the best looking Ferrari's.

THERE IT IS!! THE Ferrari. The only Ferrari I'd ever have. The only Ferrari I would exchange a 1970 GTO Judge for. Awesome.

first one on the thread also? And maybe spot of the year?

Harry, dude, you do find awesome cars, first the purple Hemi 'Cuda, now this... MEMORABLE!!!

:dopey::sly:
Ahhh harrytuttle I'll love you always!! :) :embarrassed:

You two are almost too cute! :)

Harry- incredible spot on the Daytona. One of my greatest spots of all time was a genuine Daytona Spider on 6/17/06. Much rarer than the coupe but even so I've never seen a coupe on the road. Absolutely wonderful sighting (truly one of the best of the thread) - thanks for sharing - and it totally makes driving awkwardly down that cul-de-sac worth it!!

The Cadooooooo!!!! That one is a nice spot also, Doug. 1959 btw, and in very good condition.

You are all smokin' lately, people!!! We just need a Boss 302 now.

There are often stories like that involving false first deliveries etc. e.g. 500 at least enzos not 399.

That Dinan tuned Cooper is pretty cool, a couple guys on the NAM boards have stage kits on their Coopers. The S2 kit is good for 205hp which in a car that light is quite a bit. It's not that bad of a deal either $5,500 considering all you get and that includes install.

I saw a new nissan GTR at work in the parking lot.

i got pics on my cell phone.

i have seen several challengers, mercedes C63 AMG's, bently GT's, tuned STI's, and a white porsche turbo.

theres a lot of rich people in the area i work in. scopin out the parking lot is fun

Lamborghini Diablo VT.

Saw it at the bowling alley where my mom works last night. Don't mind the 'gang signs,' me and my friend were having fun taking pictures. I think it was a great one day early b-day present, lol.
Nearly two years later, I have a backstory on this! Turns out it belongs to a co-worker of mines, father. Pretty nifty, imo.

The thing that makes it even more special for me is that finding anything post-worthy is hard to come by, so when I see this or the 'Cuda.... Well, I get all a-flutter.

Here's about the 100th Anniversary Mustang from http://www.yellowmustangregistry.com/ProductionSpecialEd.html

"03 Centennial Edition Scheduled Production: 3000 Only available in black clearcoat, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Ford. For more information, visit the Ford Centennial Website."

Cool! Thanks! 👍

You two are almost too cute! :)

Oh, boy. That's nothing compared to how we are in person. :embarrassed:

Thanks. I almost got dizzy going round and round. Good thing I didn't hit it!

Go to Miller Motorcars often? :sly: Well, I do, too. I'm surprised they're selling modern Ferrari's at that location again, but I haven't been there in a few weeks. I think I could place just about every photo in that post. Greenwich Avenue, West Putnam, East Putnam...all good "sight-seeing".
