Blown 1977 Holden Torana V8

OH MY GOD. I want to hear that.

Awesome spot.

@ Rue - great shots 👍 I especially like the orange 993, the GT-R and the Elise. Nice work as always!

Just the one from me today - Ferrari 348.

haha, my Dad came in and said "that looks like New Zealand". Godzone has such a unique scenery :D:tup:.

Not sure if this counts, but yesterday I heard a sports bike driving, and while we're buried in snow I found this weird, but sure enough, I went outside, and my neighbor was storing his new bike he had purchased. Now he has that and a black GT Mustang (02 I think)

Got a chance to get around town today, and came across some sort of Ferrari service center. In the rear entrance they had:
1 430
1 430 Scud.
5 California's
8-9 Maserati sedans, 1 coupe i think.

Ill be going back there and taking pictures this time. I should charge my phone more often.

EDIT: some stuff Over the past week or so:

Kida missed the shot a little, but it was a SWAT tank thing:

Last, but not in any way the least, a Lotus Europa:

I saw him pass me doing about 80ish as I was getting on the freeway, had to get a shot of this thing, it sounded wicked.

I'm sorry to rain on your parade DKX but that El Camino has been destroyed by doing that. I just can't understand it when people jack there car up like that?:odd: It is so impractical. Don't take this the wrong way, just my opinion.;)

Most El Camino's I've seen are slammed to the ground and have air ride and stuff.

It's nice to see some 4x4 Camino's now and then.

But hey, to each their own.

There are some things I saw, but did not have the time directly to post:

Impractical? Depends on your definition. Perhaps he doesn't use it to haul much, but rather likes to mud it or take it off road. At least his skills are clean, in that he used the existing frame rather than just popping a Blazer frame underneath!

Yep, it is a Passat, just a bigger Jetta . I figured out though that it just has a Hi-Def body kit. Factory added just never heard or seen it before.

Probably should have told my dad that before he bought it. Although it kinda hurts my case when Wheels mag named the Honda Accord Euro (Essentially the everywhere-else version of the TSX) Wheels COTY 2008...Still don't like it no matter how many awards it wins.

Oh...sorry.... Was it the base model or V6? It's not too bad if it's not the V6.... ;)

Pretty sure this is a Jaguar 420 rather than a MkII.

Ah; thanks. Fixed now. 👍

Have road trip, will find cars:

Jaguar 420

A better photo of the now-420 I had seen earlier. It also includes a better shot of the...

Triumph TR4 1965

...which came out much worse than I thought. Naturally. :indiff:

Mercedes-Benz 280SL

A bit of rust, but it probably runs better than most post-2000 Mercedes' do.

Cadillac Taxi

Is this where some of those cash-for-clunkers ended up? An DTS taxi? It doesn't look right in yellow no matter how you use it.

Jaguar X-Type Estate 3.0 AWD

The one and only Jaguar station wagon. It's actually not half bad, just not the right market for Jaguar. I hope the new owners don't look upon this era as something that should be revisited.

Volkswagen Phaeton

Not quite the uber-rare W12, but uncommon enough. I don't think I've seen those wheels before, though.

Mazda 6 MPS

Most of these are in dark gray or that odd purple-gray. Red is refreshing, but it somehow makes the car look too flabby, especially with the overly bulbous hood.

BMW X5 Dinan

The tuning got at least as far as the exhaust, as the 4.4i never sounded that good.

Saleen Mustang S281 3v

Nighttime is just not my camera's strong point. At least not without using the flash and letting everyone in the restaurant know a full grown man and his fiance are taking pictures of a random car on the street.

Strangest spot of the month:

Phone Car

Teleman was here. I honestly thought it was a local phone repair company but apparently it's just a phone nut. I get it, though; I dig old tech, too. I don't think I'd drive around in a BMC.

You have some good spots, I remember when I was in Hong Kong, it seemed to be:
1) You are normal so you take public transport
2) You are rich, so you buy a car to show it off

Result: 50% of the cars you see are good spots.:)

Already moving from the country side to the city did make quite a difference for me. I remember that in my teens I have seen 1 BMW M5. I posted one yesterday and saw another one in the evening 👍(seen it/done it, so did not even bother for picture anymore :indiff:).

Not clear how cars change interest depending on geography: Being close to Germany & having company cars, the streets here are full with Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, ... as you might have noticed from my posts (I only post the special engine versions :sly:, and boycott some models = not nice :yuck:). However a Corvette or a Cadillac are rare here.

My request: Can anyone spot a real Mustang Shelby Super Snake, I understand it is a package that goes on top of a Shelby GT500, but the normal snake on the Shelby gets the "Super Snake" around it + some more HP of course 👍👍👍.
Like this, not a picture from me:

Triumph
Mercedes-Benz SL
Jaguar X-Type Estate
BMW X5

My neighbor has all of these (and he has more cars actually), sorry no pictures :guilty: yet, when it is summer 💡 and he takes the old Triumph and Mercedes-Benz SL out I'll try to get a shot of them for you guys.

One disadvantage of spotting: I keep asking myself the question: Why don't I have all these toys?
However I spotted cars since I was a kid (sorry had no camera back then :dopey:) and keep loving looking at great cars.
