I saw this at the local Mobil gas station. It's the 426 version. 1 of only 135!!

picture.php

as I said when Doug spotted the last one:

DFJREGNHZNSJZGSMFRHJDSJFSGSGDJFKHGHHHH! đź‘Ť

also, Alfa, Willys (yes it's real) and Manta are all awesome.

Those rims on the SLS can't be standard right? The official ones looks so much better than that. Anyway, Great spotting! Good to finally see the 458 and SLS on the road!

Odds and sods from today and a few days ago. Fairlady belongs to local car photography guru Chester Ng. I would have spoken to him but he looked busy. Still, nicest Fairlady I've seen.

Some oldies that where hanging around:

Superb Toyota Supra, during a weekend, when I was looking for a place to eat:

Brightest car I ever saw:

I was coming home, down I-10, when this fantastic car passed me. I saw this Carrera GT in my rear view mirror and got my camera out. By the time I got a picture, it was a good distance infront of me. It was doing at least 90mph!

I was at Hampton Downs on Saturday and caught a few rarities (for NZ) in the Parking lot.
An Evo WRC X...
Hampton%20Downs%20SSS%202010%20002.jpg

And a DB7, but the pic is corrupted, so can't use it.
Also, V12 AMG Mercedes, forgot which one, might have been a CL class...

Wow, today I was in Monaco and Cannes. In Monaco I saw a Maybach, Rolls Royce Phantom and Bugatti Veyron parked right by eachother, two SLR McLaren's (one 722 and one roadster) pretty close to eachother. I also saw three Tesla Roadsters parked by eachother amongst alot of other cars.

In Cannes I saw one of those ridiculous blue FAB Design Maybachs.

Expect pictures on Friday. I probably won't be able to upload them before then.
Sounds about right for Monaco. Impossible to go there & not see something nice.

You got it! I missed the one I saw once, but it came from the opposite direction for me.

A while ago I stated I prefer the old VW Scirocco, but then not like this one today at lunch (yes I will put it in questionable modifications):

4600667283_b1be6fb44c_b.jpg

and I did not want the red new VW Scirocco as much, but I missed the tuned back on this one last time:

4601287110_19854b9532_b.jpg

Quite an improvement over the standard exhausts:

Also at lunch I caught this tuned VW Scirocco:

When I saw these last 2 before I wondered if that was the R-version, but no, since I saw this R version Monday night while shopping:

One promise from the past fulfilled.
Enough Scirocco.

This morning I suddenly saw one car I had forgotten on my wish list:

The original Audi Quattro:

Last week I caught this splendid Renault 16 TL, but 458, SLS AMG and so on took too much time to post it:

At lunch today I also got this exceptional angle on the Audi S6:

One of the cutest Mini Cabrio CooperSs that I ever saw, last week on the way to work and picture taken at lunch:

Not boring like the common :) Mini Cubman CooperS at the shopping center this week:

The new R56 drop top Cooper's in yellow with the grey rims look awesome. It's one of my favourite combinations with the car.

I was having a look through some photos on my old computer when I came across some pictures of my Dad's old car. It's a Skyline R34, that's obvious, but it's not a GTR. I was wondering if anyone here on GTPlanet could tell me a bit more about it. We have since traded it in for an '08 Alfa GT.
Unfortunately when we had the Skyline I wasn't too interested in minor details of cars. People at school, yes it was a few years ago, used to ask me about it and come to my house and look at it but really I didn't 'understand' what it was. I think it's a 2000 model although we had a custom registration and it was imported so that wouldn't be telling.

Here's another picture, I have a couple more if anyone's interested.
skyline_rear.jpg

I realise I didn't take the photos today but I would rather post here than create a new thread.
tracys_mini.jpg

This is a photo of my sister's old mini! She got rid of it when it started leaking, like most minis. You can see the R34 there, too.
small_mr2.jpg

I did take this one today! It's a car that I actually wouldn't mind owning, a Toyota MR2. It's parked along a road opposite my Sixth Form, there's a Porsche of sorts too. I see quite a few nice cars around the Sixth Form; there's a Private School opposite so I see plenty of Panameras and Cayennes.
Well, enjoy and I'd appreciate any help with the Skyline!

It's a Skyline 25GT. It looks the same as the GTR, but has a turbo RB25 instead of the RB26, and it's also Rear-wheel drive.

Lately I have seen a Lambo Countach driving along the highstreet. It sounded amazing!
On my bike ride to school I was stuck behind a Brabus Smart roadster thing - only the second of these I have ever seen.
Last year I saw a Ferrari (dunno what model) in the French Alps

And another Ferrari outside a restaurant on Lygon Street in Melbourne

Finally home from France with a few pictures...

First, here are a few spots from the casino parking lot:

3 Tesla Roadsters:

Two SLR McLaren's:

mercedesslrmclaren5.jpg

Maybach, Rolls Royce Drophead Phantom, Bugatti Veyron:
Probably one of my favorite spots.
maybachphantomveyron.jpg

The Veyron looked so small compared to the two other cars.

A few from outside
Mansory DB9:
mansoryastonmartindb9.jpg

I also saw a few other normal Aston Martin's...

British racing green (I think) Bentley Continental from California:

Nice looking Corvette C1:

Ghosts 'n' stuff
rollsroyceghost.jpg

Another Drophead Phantom with a Maybach parked in front of it.

I also saw this weird looking Bentley Continental:

Rolls Royce. Don't know what model:

Maserati GranCabrio:
maseratigranturismoroad.jpg

Saw this on the way to Monaco...

Here are a few spots from Cannes, where I saw the ridiculous FAB Design Maybach:
fabdesignmaybach.jpg

Apparently, there's only 15 of these in the world. I wonder why...

I also saw this old Ferrari. Not sure what model it is:
gammelferrari.jpg

Gemballa:

A few more from Cannes:

accobrae.jpg

It's probably a replica, but it was still pretty nice looking...

A few random cars:

AC Schnitzer BMW M3:

Nissan Cube:

I've never seen any of those before...

Rolls Royce Phantom with matte paint and toned rear lights:

My last spots were in the St. Maxime parking lot...

Lotus Elise:

Fiat 500:

I hope you liked them!

OH MY GOD A SPORT SPYDER!!!!!!! got dang you got such an awesomely rare car!!!! very VERY cool spot, one of the coolest and most intresting in this thread, definately. The others are somewhat meh for me (exception bein' the Vette, looks awesome), but the Renault takes the prize.

Epic post, none the less.

Right in line with my irregular coincidence of catching almost exclusively R8s in rolling shots, here's a V10. While keeping up with him, I was holding the shutter while scrolling to something closer to 1/60 (which usually produces the best rolling shots for average city street speeds) and ended up capturing this fun shot at around 1/5s:

Ford Fiesta, it was one of those Fiesta movement cars or something as it had a ton of graphics down the side. I want one, in that colour.

Cadillac CTS Coupe, with normal plates too! I guess you can buy one at the dealer now.
