Seriously? You didn't even read the post before yours? At least post the pic you say you got. Please.

Was this directed at me?

I did post a picture. At least I think I did. I posted it on my iPhone so maybe it didn't work.

Also the post before mine is a blank quote and a blank post.

Maybe that's just blank on my iPhone too.

Yeah, there was no picture, but it looks like you added one 5 minutes after my post (or your phone finished adding it?) I'm normally pretty gentle with new posters here, but it seemed like your post was more careless than normal given that the post before yours was telling the fellow who posted without a pic 2 posts above yours the rule about posting pics.

But if iphones don't show quotes, yeah, you wouldn't have known that.

So my apologies if I came off too harsh, thanks for the pic, and welcome to the thread!

It's quite alright. Just a mis understanding. No hard feelings. :)

You (and the spotter and me and everyone else in this thread) wish! If it was a Kübel in the street, it would be one of the rarest, most extraordinary spots ever posted in this thread. The Kübel was the german version of the Jeep and is now an extremely extremely rare car, with few having survived the war. The car is, as Josh correctly pointed out, a VW Thing, or if you want to be technical, a Type 181. Made in Mexico btw.

I think my friend saw a Kubelwagen here a couple of weeks ago, but I could be mistaken again. Lemme find a pic...

More photos of old cars chilling out in Mexico, please.

What he said.

What he said too.

Me three 👍.

Ok, so to kinda celebrate the fact that I'm over 10k posts now, here we go!

first this poor, pooor Javelin with a quite questionable paint job and oh dear those wheels. Thanks Chip Foose for your omnipresent influence.

This VW Combi/T2 Bus is now a storage bin for a nearby shop, and also makes an awesome street art piece:

First-gen Barracuda, 1964-65, mostly complete... ok so it has a lot of stuff missing,b ut the most important thing, the rear glass, is still there, intact. That alone makes it worth a resto attempt:

Real, Karmann-made Beetle ragtop. I can't tell if it's a Super Beetle.

I freaking hate when this happens. The car was fun, complete with a mildly chopped top, but you'll never know, lol.

Pretty tattered 240Z (260?) in period mags, a prime candidate for a cool restomod complete with an LSx swap. Yeah.

Credit where credit is due, the thing weas really fun:

1966 dodge Coronet abandoned inside a building complex, and quite complete too, not a single trim piece was missing, it even had the original hubcaps, but it was very very rusty. Still, it's worth it.

SLS. The thing sounds sweet!

half-primered Renault 8, early-70s car as it has 4 headlamps. Looks in pretty decent shape.

And this hyper-random VW Derby:

More later today!

@cano's post:

LOL... just lol  ...that Tsuru, typical mexican Tuning  but anyway, there's not much that can be done to the Tsuru... it's an awful car...

And the Chevy "Macuín" :scared: ... god!!!

@ Cano
Nice spots 👍

I think that 240Z, is a 280Z(S30) cause it has the hood vents .

Edit :
It also has the all red tail lights, the 240/260 had red and orange . And it has the late 70s Federally required bumpers

Those hood mirrors.

I only realised that I couldn't see out of them when I was on the freeway. Repositioning them whilst on the move is not an option!

^^ Nice shot of the Porsche 993 but the Sierra RS Cosworth is a great spot, and in Hong Kong 👍

Found these while looking through some old photos.

About 85% of people here do that to their cars, but worse. I've just become used to it, and if they don't seem like the type of people to carry a gun, I just point and laugh. Normally I just point and laugh anyways.

Edit: Stuff like this. Not necessarily these cars, but I see this being done all the time. These are both my pics.

Dodge Challenger

I have also seen a Corvette ZR1, a Lamborghini Gallardo (There's only one in this city and it is property of a professional boxer), a 70's Challenger and a parade with only 40's and 50's cars, but I didn't have my phone at those moments :banghead:

That poor XK. :( Who in their right mind would do that!?

Obvious answer is obvious, I guess :C

Even on the Internet I just HAVE TO see a Continental.
I remember coming back home from my faculty on a certain Friday. Getting on the tram I realized I haven't seen a Continental on that day yet. Within a few stops I spotted 4 different Porsches. Then, when the tram stopped on another one...

...2 Continentals, one behind another.
