I had both a Tofaş 131 and a Renault 12 when I lived in Turkey in 1986/7.
That Saab is the same year and model as my very first car.A bunch from the second half of '23 including a few spots in Turkey/Antalya:

I have always thought the F20C would be a great option in an Elise. That Saab is the same year and model as my very first car.Wish it were a Carlsson.
Now, I either need to buy my own Lotus or I need a friend that owns one. This belongs to the father of my daughter's best friend. Running an F20C.

I'd have the Legend. Co-worker back in the day, circa 1998, had a lovely brownish two-tone Legend 5-speed, with the first Kaminari full body kit sans wing, on gold BBS RS. Straight from the brochure. Instant classic back then. Even had the sunroof and brown velour interior, instead of leather. Choice! Some cars I spotted today:
Honda Legend Mk1 - what a pleasant surprise this one was. I thought it was an 80s Honda Accord at first which would've been cool on it's own, but this is just even better isn't it?

VW Scirocco 3rd gen (no R but still a cool find nonetheless):

Also spotted a red Audi RS7 (2nd gen) but couldn't manage to take a photo of it![]()
Love the colour. It's reminiscent of the old Mustang Lime Gold.Dodge Challenger T/A

This **** is 58y.o and still at dealership. Also, urus-at-home
I see these cars all the time. They're nothing special.
Okay.I see these cars all the time. They're nothing special.
You don't see people posting pictures of Mercedes SUV's on car spotting pages. Urus? Yes. DBX? Yes. GLE 63? No. Ask any of my car spotting friends and they'll agree with me. It isn't just my opinion.Okay.
EDIT: I'm not done with this comment. Dude, there's subjectivity in what's considered good such as people posting cars I've seen all of the time, but you don't see me quoting them about it.
[Narrator's voice]It was just his opinion. It isn't just my opinion.
You're right...I see them posting pictures of cars more common than that! You don't see people posting pictures of Mercedes SUV's on car spotting pages.
Uh huh...GLE 63? No. Ask any of my car spotting friends and they'll agree with me. It isn't just my opinion.
Bruh, we are worldwide community. There are countries where modern mid tier MB is rare thing. You don't see people posting pictures of Mercedes SUV's on car spotting pages.
Such as?You're right...I see them posting pictures of cars more common than that!![]()
Yeah but I don't think the USA is one of them.Bruh, we are worldwide community. There are countries where modern mid tier MB is rare thing.
I've seen multiple Durango SRTs (both hellcats and 392s) in a given week and different Challenger 392s including the T/As. I won't blame people for capturing them as they're still pretty cool.Such as?
Durango SRT Hellcat

GR Supras are cool too, but I also see these multiple times within a given week. (which is why I would still post them too, so you're fine GranTurNismo; don't stop posting GR Supras)Dodge Challenger T/A

and of course Scott while I don't ever see what looks like a Clio RS due to where I live, I imagine it's no more rare than a Focus ST, Mazdaspeed 3, or a modern Golf GTi would be in my country. Don't get me wrong, hot hatches are cool, but you're talking about rarity. Not how cool something is.
Plus all the past posts I've seen here with NA Miatas, 2010s STis, older F150 Raptors, newer Mustang GTs, etc. And I'm finding it hard to believe the GLE63 AMG Mercedes with over 600 hp Biturbo V8 is somehow common as heck...

Clios are not that common here in Australia (particularly the 197) and there's a small cool factor attached because French cars are interesting.and of course Scott while I don't ever see what looks like a Clio RS due to where I live, I imagine it's no more rare than a Focus ST, Mazdaspeed 3, or a modern Golf GTi would be in my country. All the cars you've mentioned are not worthy spots in my book. I've seen plenty of these vehicles and I just turn a blind eye to most of them unless they have an interesting feature or modification.Plus all the past posts I've seen here with NA Miatas, 2010s STis, older F150 Raptors, newer Mustang GTs, etc. And I'm finding it hard to believe the GLE63 AMG Mercedes with over 600 hp Biturbo V8 is somehow common as heck...
