Walking back from a lecture on friday..... saw the Xbox 360 promo vechile. It was a white Hummer H2 with xbox 360 logos and sweeping green circles on it. Was riding on what looked like 22" chrome wheels with low profile tyres, lowered and the windows were tinted!....... was really sweet...... but I didnt get a picture...

Our Dodge dealer got 5 new Viper Coupes in.

~1 pure Blue Coupe
~1 Black

I didn't get a chance to see the other one as it was in the warehouse.

Apparently, they were all sold before sight.

While I was in L.a. I saw...

Merc SL500s/SLK/G-class/M-class/CLS, BMW 6-series, Range rover sport/ LR3, DB9 coupe/convert., Cayanne/997s, Ferrari 430 were as common as Hondas

Bentley and Rolls Royce 4doors like they were as common as Mercs.

Bentley GT 2drs. were even more common

Merc SLR Mclaren ON THE ROAD

GT40 and Saleen s281 Mustang at the Ford dealer

Boring....

Yet... only one SRT10 at a rental dealer... wtf. bunch of stuck up no taste wieners.

The guy who lives down the street from me had his Jet Black F355 Spyder sitting in his driveway this afternoon... I dunno what he was doing with it, but I saw it on the way to Meijer this afternoon...

I love my neighborhood... Were the only family that doesnt have really expensive cars... Ohh wait, thats because weve been there for the last 18 years... We didnt just build a house and then move in for the river view...

My grandparents have had a cottage on a lake for 60 years, passed down to them from their parents....its old, but nice, beat up f-150's and old suburbans in the lane mostly...the neighbours ( all from the last 5-10 years ) are driving range rovers, lincoln blackwoods, escalades, one guy has an H1...My granpa has a 14 foot aluminum boat on his dock, the others have monster twin merc engined beasts that can pretty much take fliight from the water, one guy even flies in with his otter pontoon plane....rich bastiges...

I saw a Rolls this morning not far from where I saw the (grey and black) Veyron. I'm posting about the Rolls and the Veyron because they're uncommon here in LA. I see Ferraris and Lambos often enough here that it's no biggie. I used to live down the street from dealerships of both. Actually come to think of it, I'm not far from a Rolls dealership (I think, could be wrong about that).

I'm surprised at what is common here and what isn't. Ferraris are more common than Lambos, and more common than GT40s, Vipers, and even C6 ZO6s. I have yet to spot a Z06 C6.
