"Different" car or typical car?

me im well known for my supra it comes out often, but i do like the odd ball cars mgtf160, tk zz-s, mr2 spyder, mr2gt, soarer and chaser among some of me favs plus the ford falcon from online dealership is becoming a bit more usefull to drift. but its down to personal taste.

My normal drift car is the 1991 Acura NSX, but I tend to experiment with different kind of cars. The latest car I've used was my 1976 Ferrari 512BB. Soon I will try my 1957 Mercedes 300SL.

There is no concrete point that defines a rare drift car. Sometimes its Premium or Standard, sometimes its MR or RR or even FR, sometimes its a standard improved version of a typical premium car (came up in my mind S13 premium vs the improved standard version, K´s ´91).

The only way to understand what is a rare drifting machine is have a lot of time drifting online and pay attention on what is more or less used. For exemple, the Tank Car is not rare, cose there are many people who uses it for fun sometimes. Otherwise a Mazda RX-7 GT-Limited (FC, J) '85 is quite rare, cose 99,9% uses the premium model.

My silvia s13 is a bit rare if we get technical because insted of using the premium or even '91 K's i use the older much less popular '88 K's s13. If we just call it on looks, then its common because of the premium.

My question is do you drift in cars that others use or do you use something that to you is a bit different.

Thats not me in a silvia or s2000 or whatever.. i only drift weird cars

lancia stratos (rally and road)
renalut clio v6
mustang SVT cobra R
plymouth prowler
among other cars you just dont see on the drift circuit

I dont like the typical cars. I mean, the silvias and 240sx's are ugly, and then others are mainstream, and things like the special i just dont like
Additionally, i dont tune cars unless they NEED it, so i mess around with all sorts of weird stuff.

Ugh I no what you mean. All I ever see is classic drift cars but it's pretty much only rx-7. There are so many just as fun or much better cars out there I don't get why people don't try them all out.

Are speed 6's ok? It's been one of my favourite cars in GT for years....and in real life too! Never seen a real speed 12 but have never liked it in the game as all it's good for is spinning the rear tyres and as a result isn't that useful for racing.

I get higher scores with the 12 though

I use Renault Clio V6 its a bit of a different car and i find it very easy to drift with on the slower tracks.
