You'll see that it's stupidly simple. There are many ways to do this, but I'll show you an example (photoshop): 1st create new layer. 2nd - make a selection with the rectangular marquee tool to select the area that you want to add the black. 3rd - fill with black. 4th - Click ctrl-A to select the whole area. 5th - Go to the first tool (the one over the rectangular marquee tool) and on the top you will see the align options. Align the 1st layer to the top and then the second layer to the bottom (or the opposite it doesnt matter). If you want you can merge the layers and then create an action. This way you wont need to repeat the whole process.

thank you. I'll try next time.

Interesting, i was just about to suggest adding a black border to you photos for a more cinematic effect, but you suggested it anyway! simple black borders really help with making pictures look purposeful if you know what i mean. But anyway, i love all of your pics of you latest set, but i especially like the closeup of the headlight! really detailed and crisp!

Yes this way can work. Although it doesn't have to take that many steps and can be more flexible.

The way I do it is (Photoshop)

Create new layer, fill with black (piant bucket tool),
then Ctrl + A, then go to the select menu, choose Transform Selection
then at the top change the Height (H) value to whatever you want, like 90 or less (depends how big you want the black bars.)
then hit enter, and lastly go to the layer panel and click on the mask icon (rectangle with circle)
and you're done.

The good part about this is once you're done if you change your mind about how big or small you want the black bars all you have to do is unlink the mask on that layer and then select the mask box in that layer and go to transform (Ctrl + T) to change the H value to which will change the size of the bars.

Hope that makes sense.

Oh and as mentioned making an action is a good thing. Saves you a bunch of time. ;)

Glad I could help. That photo has very nice toning, but the bars look a bit grey-ish. Maybe you placed them under your effects or something.

Thank you. I was checking my shots and I notice that will be much better if I add bars ..people learn every day.
thank you for visiting my gallery and for help.

Great work on you last sets mate 👍

The Sub' Rallycar one is excellent with a great light 👍 I also like a lot the toning you've used for some of the Chevy shots. The third Supra shot is perfect and I like the way you've worked on light in the GTR set.

Need more now ;)

@Kodje thank you for your words my friend..more shots soon..I try to look on real cars photos to see how they look to try just a little bit similar to my photos...thank you for visiting my gallery.

The first shot is nice but I really like ythe second one : good composition, superb light and nice glow effect 👍

Pretty good Bumble Bee sets. The first close up of the light is really nice and well framed and toned. And in fact quite a lot of these shots are well toned. You are improving nicely I think. 👍

And a few of the NSX, particularly the yellow shots are nice too, well composed and farily well editied. 👍

The angle of the last focus shot is nice and also good use of the mountain backdrop on the left to balance the image. The flare looks a bit wrong to me though. A softer light leak would have been more appropriate because of where the suns position is. But it's good to see you tried add something insted of leaving it plain. 👍

Great toning, good compositions, angle and speed. Very nice job!

Thank You my friend

Thank You my friend. - You are improving nicely I think.- thank you - i really try to do my best.

The flare looks a bit wrong to me though. A softer light leak would have been more appropriate - i try to do some fog or maybe other because i didnt want to leave this space empty but i didnt know how to make it so i used flare.

Thank You for visiting my gallery guys.
