Dirty/race worn Audi Gr.1 from the box. Bug?

Hey!

I was lucky with my daily reward just now. Firstly I get a car I don't own, which is always nice, and said car was the Gr.1 TDI Audi.

I immediately start my new car routine, which is to take it to Scapes and snap a couple of photos. Then I noticed that my brand new car has wear on the paintjob.

I try different scapes locations, and no difference. Head to the Brand Central and it's all nice and clean over there.

Anyone have similar experience? It bugs me because I want to snap squeaky clean shots in Scapes

Teams tend to not wash their cars after Le Mans, maybe it's a deliberate "bug" and PD thought some users would prefer the battle scarred look for their photo.

Would be good to have a choice

I deliberately like it you can't buy that version of the car it's only available from the daily rewards. You can buy the before race version though from brand central.

Básically there are 2 Versions of The same car, one that can be buy on The dealership with The clean livery and The one you have (only available as daily reward) that have The livery with dirt/scratches based in The post race car shown in the Audi Museum

Ah ok, then I don't really mind it anymore .

I was going a little crazy yesterday when i got this car and went to scapes le mans to get the psn trophy....... And after taking a number of photos with this car and the 2016 model i was really puzzled as i could not get the trophy, then i went to brand central and noticed ther was no blue tick on the 2011 car implying that i DONT OWN the car...... which is when realised exactly what u guys are disscussing here....... Easter egg i guess?

That car, the Audi R18 (Le Mans) '11, is the one which won 24h du Mans 2011 and is different to the Team Joest car.

I won it a couple of weeks ago too and really like that it has dirt and grime on it. It makes me wish that all cars got dirty as races go on. Having said that, I don't drive it at all seeing as the engine sound is hopeless.

Is there an list over rare cars and cars you only can get trough the daily gift wheel?
I thought i knew everything that there is to know about the game, this took me by an suprise
I would like to read from the sources to quench my nerdy thirst please
