Disc or digital downloadable version?

I prefer disc copies because my internet is from the stone age so downloading a 10GB game would take an entire day for me, assuming my internet doesn't drop in the middle of that.

I'm sure we'll get the option of both anyway. It doesn't make sense to do one and not the other.

Disc for sure. Downloadable version would be ok as an option but only if it is in addition to the disk. There are lots of people out there still without a high speed connection and others who have to pay for extra bandwidth and some may not even have a connection at all.

GT6 would be a huge download and even on the average high speed connection would take longer to download than to drive to the store and purchase the disk, return and begin the install, not to mention that when first available there could be millions of people trying to download these huge files at the same time putting a severe strain on the servers.

On another note doing away with the disc in favor of download should mean that we get the games cheaper but most likely would be the same price and doing away with the game disks could take away a lot of jobs in the long run while not saving us a penny.

Disc, may be Signature Edition this time. There is nothing better in the world than reading an Apex book on a can, having a dump!!!

I think it will be smaller than GT5 actually, file size wise.
Smaller than GT5 could still be huge but odds are it will be larger. It will have some additional content and don't forget that updates for GT5 were rather large themselves. I do not know how large it will be but I would guess over 20 gigs perhaps less if it is compressed but huge in any case.

Even though it is a 30 minute drive one way to the store I am still quite sure I could go buy the disc return and be playing the game in the time it would take to download it even if the servers aren't overloaded at the time.

Smaller with more content, that's interesting.

Maybe they're taking away GTTV? I haven't heard about this yet. That would take away some considerable pre-loaded videos and file size.

Just a thought. I doubt it'd be smaller though.

We had preinstalled GTTV content on the disc?
