Never had that happen at Blue Moon Bay either and if you check my stats you'll see I was up and down with racing at Red Bull Ring and Nurburgring
yesterday but still no DQ.

I still have the video I posted back then

It happens, yet maybe less frequently now. I've had a DQ on Le Mans as well, not anything recently though. I have seen people disappear after a touch from behind on Mount Panorama a month ago. Very much looked like a DQ.

Yes but its not just from one race.

Well I’m stuck again, in a race a couple of days ago there was a lot of contact, some from me some from others, I had the warning come up and I stayed well out of the way of everyone for the remaining lap and finished, next race (Nurb Gp) it was similar, the warning came up on the last lap, Someone then went into back of me after braking for the last chicane, and boom I disappear, next race warning up at end of first lap, I survive one note lap, get hit, bang I’m gone. Had a couple of attempts so far today, all on race b, (nurb gp) I’m usually starting 6-8 and the usual melee of the first turn and 2nd/3rd gave warning and I’m out before lap end, last race I tried, warning flashed up during turn 1, and I was gone before t2.

I would say the first time I got warning it was 60/40 me hitting others, then for the middle few it was 20/80, the last two have been 5/95 and in all cases when I’ve had warning I’ve tried to stay out of way but if another car hits you anywhere and anyhow, it’s doom, and you’re gone!

I like it, and being stuck in E races it’s interesting seeing cars disappearing in front of you, it’s just so hard to get out of it. I tried a race at big willow to start at back, but I got rammed twice by people who had rejoined track and I was gone!!

I’ll keep trying!

If you're in SR.E, you only have to do one race C staying on the track, out of trouble to get boosted to SR.B in a single race. Race A and B are no good for gaining SR, C is where the points are at. Just pit early to be totally safe.

i just got D'd for the first time and my DR and SR are rated B's i get the DQ message at the start before i start the first lap and all it took was one retart dive bombing on first corner and i got booted i think disqualifying ppl for other peoples bad intentions is wrong, when are you going to fix the penalty system, i try to overtake japanese drivers every day and get penalies coz they brake check me or try to hit me off the track, yeaterday i got a 5 second penalty while in 6th position coz a dive bomber just caught the front of my car as he was flying past as i was turning so i recieve a penalty......

get it together or u will lose loyal customers

got DQ'd for the first time at the beginning of this week and have hardly been able to complete a race since! I was C/C and immediately went to D/E. I have been very careful in the races and can honestly say that none of the incidents were my fault but am still getting DQ'd!! It really makes you want to give up although I have been playing since GT3... Wish they would do something about it!!!

I would really like to see someone post video of three races prior to and including the disqualification because I have no idea how it's possible. Video of the final indiscretion doesn't tell the story.

All you need to do is hang back for a race at Suzuka, a clean race is worth 60 SR in SR.E on the daily C this week. That puts you back in SR.B, plus the clean race bonus should wipe the DQ curse hanging over you.

Is is actually that many people blocking? I have noticed many people over defending, but almost never blocking.

There are some and a simple SR Down is no deterrent. It's the minority, 9 out of 10 times the system is wrong for giving the car ahead SR Down. It's much safer to bump people off than block and get bumped off yourself.

Disqualified twice for being hit by a divebomber from behind.
I was going AT THE SAME SPEED of the 2 cars in front, but for PD it was my fault.

Tonight same thing, got hit from behind while in pole position, then a gentle nudge from behind at lap 7 had me DQ'd again.

I went from HalfC-S to LowerD-B in 4 races due to this.

I am done playing this pathetic excuse of a game until it's fixed.
Probably they saw the popularity of Battle Royale games and decided to go with the flow: The last player standing after everyone else is disqualified wins.

I don't understand this system. I was disqualified in the first round at Fuji Gr.2 in second position. with SR A. No contacts made until the message get displayed....

Here you go, join me in the pain.
Notice how two cars basically smash each other in the esses half a lap in without consequences in the sped up bit. And then there I am getting pushed and punished for it. "Italians are rude and aggressive blah blah" but I really try to abide by the rules. I really do.
I also try to go wide on purpose to avoid divebombers, to no avail.
Disregard the humorous editing.

Ok so a little update for those that are interested, but before I do I want to make clear

a. I really agree with this Disqualification system
b. Please do not mistake Disqualification for Penalties or SR down, as many seem to
c. I'm not a great driver and make mistakes

So that being said, I few weeks ago I was stuck on 1 collision and I was booted from the game, I followed Sven's advice (thanks for that by the way, and sorry I didn't say so sooner) and did a couple of Race C's round La Sarthe, incident free, and got up to SR B, I then enjoyed my racing on and off for a few weeks, especially DTG and NGP which are two tracks I do drive well at.

This week is Tokyo week on Race B which is what I usually drive on.

I had a couple of races where I was picking up penalties for smacking in to the walls in the early phase of the track, a few bumps with cars to get the Orange down arrow, but no penalties from these, I checked by DR and SR and noticed despite starting and ending around 7th/8th, with lots of wall hitting and the few bumps both were holding pretty well. I remember thinking before one race, "I'm due a reset at some point", I started 8th, finished 4th with no penalties, and absolutely no contact with any other cars, I hit the walls twice, but only lightly, so while there wasn't a red mark by my name at the end, neither did I get a clean race bonus. I was shocked to make it round that track, while being competitive without incident.

I was at a Solid C,C rating at the end of it. The very next race, I was rear ended 4 times, I got the warning of DQ pop up, and shortly after, I was hit again and I was out. I am not trying to say that the rear ending wasn't my fault, but I was surprised that after a clean race, at SR C I was gone.

Next race, I hit someone who I didn't have the talent to avoid, get a warning, get nudged on the side and I was gone. I mention all of this, as it's different to what I experienced before, each other time I very much agreed with the system to have the Hex on me for a few races (just found it very hard to shake it off) but the fact that my previous race was incident free is what surprised me, plus the C Rating.

I further note that I am still currently at C/C and have been for the last 6 days.

So, add this to the experiences we've had, its still very much a thumbs up from me, I love seeing people disappear when they've just been an idiot to you, and then the car in front too, I even enjoy the momentary glitch you experience as the game drags them out, just hate it when it's me and I don't even get the Miles towards my Daily prize :-(

I get that it can be a great thing, IF DONE CORRECTLY.
Picture this: you wait for Wednesday's Nations Cup, you go around a couple laps on RBR, you feel confident and go into qualifying, getting this:

You're hyped, since you're by no means a great driver, you're average at best, but you commit to give your best to have a good race.
Then you get rammed in turn 2 at the start of the race despite being careful, drop to P8, and get the DSQ warning on top of that.
You then proceed to gain on your opponents all the way up to P5 in 6 laps, then you get rammed again and kicked from the race.
The people that rammed you are probably still running their race without issues, hitting other people and probably winning.

Tell me what keeps you from taking the blu-ray and snapping it in two, apart for the fact that you spent money buying it.

If I wanted to play Wreckfest, I'd just turn on my PC and play Wreckfest.

Well, I got the digital download, so.....

Ok, I'll tone it down a little, as it does annoy me, mainly as I only have about a 45 minute window in the morning to play, so using Race B that gives me two races to enjoy, and get my daily prize, so when I get booted, and then I wait for the next race, and only make 1 turn and I'm gone, then of course I get mad, but I will say I cannot ever only blame the other drivers....

Well, I got the digital download, so.....
Lol, I forgot about that.

The problem is worse at lower ranks of course, since people are unable to stick to the correct racing line, forget to brake at the proper time, or try to be aggressive in spots where you're not allowed to. This kind of botched blame detection system may result in people unable to get out of DR D,C or B even if they have higher skills and are well-behaving overall.

Again, if I get divebombed and hit on my side when I'm already taking my corner, why do I get punished instead of them?

For a normal penalty, I agree it doesn't work as you would like, for the DQ, I feel there is usually a reason why you're in that position, it will be because of something you've done either significant in a race, or less so, but over a number of races. I'm saying this as a 'sufferer'. So while it's not your fault to get DQ'd at that specific moment you give as an example, you are usually in that zero tolerance due to some earlier transgressions.

My experience, I had very near 99sr.
I got smashed to pieces in one race and got the dq threat before race end but was still ranked sr S after the race. Only just though,I was down near 80 sr points.
I went and did only 1 race (I didn't take note but I'm certain it was race A) starting last and I had the dq threat before I had even crossed the start line. I simply stayed back and followed the field home.
On the last lap I actually scraped the 2nd or 3rd last corner wall and missed the clean race bonus, but it was enough to reset the dq threat and my next race was back to normal.

I know it's rough but it is what it is.
Hopefully this tactic may help someone.
If it does, please let us know so we can nail down exactly how the system works.

Based on what Janos 1986 has said I'm now wondering if the threat mechanism activation point can be built up over a few races.

I can assure you, I race as clean as I can, always did and always will.
If I accidentally hit a guy, I usually yield the position and try again, but it happened quite rarely. I also make mistakes of course, but I can see when it's my fault or not, I'm not that narrow-sighted.

I consistently had 99 SR before this new update. You can clearly see in this graph when my troubles with this new system began.

Oh you don't have to do a single thing wrong to land on the dq blacklist.
All it takes is some jerk repeatedly bumping you from behind, no fault of your own in any way.
Look at SvenJ's video in this thread.

I will try to get a rubbish qualifying lap and hang in the back for some races to clear my name from the blacklist, and try again.
I hope it works but, dang that's messed up.

I got DQ all the time. I then made one clean race at Tokyo. Problem solved!
