DLC Paint Photos!!! (We Need More Pics!!!!!)

Do these paints act the same as current ones, ie. if you paint a car in GT Auto and don't like it you can turn off the game and have the paint chip and car go back to normal?

I'd be afraid to paint anything otherwise... :nervous:

Yes you can.

I believe there is a way to use one paint twice or more.
You need to save the game. Then copy the file. Then you paint a car with this paint and give it to your friend. Then you use the copied savefile.
The only problem is it doesn't work with DLC cars.

I find it odd that all the new TC's have a good few graphics on them, except for the CRZ, which just has the number, and a couple of discreet gt logo's......

Cool pics guys, love the look of the CRZ too, even though im not into all that hybrid efficiency rubbish :P

I know this is a bit predictable, and I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this, but no one else as posted any pictures of this yet so here goes :sly:

Some pictures of my Challenger SRT8 TC with the light green chrome:

Great car! Very fast on the straights, fantastic looks and ok in the corners - not great - but ok :-) .

Can someone test the earlier suggestion? In theory if you want to paint a car without using up the chip, as long as it is a car you can gift (so nothing over 1 million, or DLC) you should be able to save your game, back it up, paint the car, gift it to a friend (or second account) then restore the old save. Your "friend" should then have the painted car, and you still have the chip. Then your "friend" gifts the painted car back to you.

It's late here but if no one else tries this, I might tomorrow :)

EDIT: On another note, I find it a little surprising that most folks in this thread are using the new paints on the new cars, when 1. The new cars are (so far) one-offs so you lose the original colour, unless you search for a close match and 2. Surely many of the new paints would look better on other cars without racing liveries?
