I guess I'm crazy then. I never use it, online or offline. Vin can keep his naaaws.

Both bottles.

Screw Vin, I'm going for the Johnny Tran look in the S2000.

This is what I look like when I hit the button in my playseat. :D

I'm going to start using for autolog times in D class.

I've some friends who are around 2 seconds quicker than me in the same car and the only way i can see making my car faster is with nitrous.I've done all i could with the engine.

So i will use it,but for only Autolog records.

I've never used it or thought about using it...until now. I'm not a sim vs. arcade nazi, but it seems arcadish to me and I also wish it wasn't in the game.

But after reading this thread, I may have to try it to see if I can catch any of you bastards beating me in Autolog! Now I'm curious how much it can really improve times.

Same here - never even thought about it before ...but maybe to beat some Autolog times and hot laps! ;);)

I use nitrous only for Autolog. But when I do an event for the first time against the AI, I keep it out of my car.

I don't drift either. Waste of time and rubber.

Plus, I'm not young and hip enough to.

M

I´m with you on this one! Drifting is extremely boring IMHO, so I never do it. Thing is, just like oval racing, I seem to have a natural talent for these things in games, but I think they are very boring and tedious, so I tend to avoid them.

No, a clean, fast lap around the ´ring or Spa or Bathurst, that ticks my boxes when it comes to racing.

R U sure that ain't V-teck kickin in yo???

   Im not young either (38) and definitly not hip but I kind of like drifting - just a shame that a suck so bad doing it :ouch:

We should start a GTP-S2U Old Fartz Team.

You gotta be kidding me

Nope. I think drifting is the least interesting of all auto-related subcultures and disciplines. I'd rather watch NASCAR, monster truck pulls or hoopties bounce around on air springs while ethnic girls gyrate suggestively to bad music than watch drifting. Honestly, I'd rather catch the clap than watch drifting.

Or did you mean that you can't believe that someone as charming, witty, lightning fast, ridiculously handsome and intellectually well-endowed as I am is neither young or hip? Believe it. ;)

Back on topic. Nitrous. Every time you use it, god kills a baby kitten.

Why would you want to supercharge instead of turbo? I love the sound in S2 of the turbos poppin'!

No, I don't use nitrous.:sly:

As a person who races and owns two turboed cars one of wich is fully built ( eagle talon & 2000 audi s4). Turbos aren't the end all be all for certain setups superchargers are ideal for instance a lot of the older muscle cars and the s2000. Just hearing a blow off valve? You sound like the srt4 guys back in the day lol. I love turbos don't get me wrong but i also like superchargers and even really well built n/a setups as well as the nitrous. I just think they should have added the option for centrifugal, roots and and screw type superchargers and I would have taken that over the nitrous. I really like the ford GT, gt500 and others with their supercharger whines just as much as the turboed cars or the roar of an oldschool v8.

I used it once to beat one of the Hotlap events

You mean there are nitros installed in the loaner cars for the hotlap events?Sweet, then I could finally become first in that Cobra @ Dakota event! :D

Don't use it, don't need it, do well enough without it, like my racing sims as realistic as poss, don't need gimmicky go faster aids..
