so is the dodge dakota next too? they made an R/T 5.9 liter of the last model of it; whats .2 more liters?!

Doubt it. They dont even offer the 5.9 liter v8 in the new dakota, and I read somewhere about problems with the hemi fitting.

HORRAY Even more HEMI FOR EVERYONE!!! I love it, 16 year olds have a vehicle they can get a hemi with (Dakota) People new to the car market have a hemi they can get (Magnum/jeep) Mid life crisis men have a car they can get a hemi from (Charger) Retiree's have a hemi for them (Ram Daytona) Lifted truck fans have a Hemi for them (Ram) and the buisness upper class do aswell(300c)

Now, when will the Soccer mom get a Hemi Caravan? COME ON GM Where is your head? up your azz! Answer the peoples cry for more power, show us a Hemi Caravan, or a Hemi Sprinter, or a Hemi intrepid

Imagine a Intrepid Daytona....God that would be the crappiest thing off of GM's development table..

GM? What's GM got to do with any of this?

Isn't the Charger taking the Intrepid's place. I think that's why the Chargers are 4 door, because they're getting rid of the Intrepid. Now if they got rid of the Status then we might see a 2 door Charger.

Yes, the rwd Charger is replacing the fwd intrepid as the full size sedan. The fwd Stratus is still their midsize coupe and sedan, and the fwd Neon is still their compact coupe and sedan. A coupe version of the Charger is being considered.

...dakota is going hemi too now?

I doubt it. The Durango is built off the Dakota, and it's "just the right size", sales gimick worked well for a while, but dodge grew tired of not having a full size SUV to throw out there. Now their trying desperately to "full size" the Durango, hence the reason it got a wheelbase streach and the 5.7 liter hemi. The dakota didn't. Their trying to separate the two.

As for the Grand Cherokee SRT8? Now thats Fugly.
