The PSN chat would be ideal for me as I currently (still) have no PC. I have to use my PS to check and post here so its always a case of having a quick look to see whats on and then booting the game up.

Ive never used the PSN chat before. Does anyone know if it can be used whilst in game and whether its voice or text? Either is fine as I now,finally, have a keyboard for my PS. Most of my posts on here up until a few months ago were rarely more than a couple of lines as I hate using the pad for text.

Now look at me; Rambling for England......(Yay, England!!!!!):sly:

EDIT: Also the live racing chat on here isnt PS3 browser friendly (There isnt alot that is)

Yes can use it in game too, text and voice, but this will be set for text.

Ok I'll add you on an invite from my PSN list, no ps keyboard here so im a bit slower than normal which is slow anyway :grumpy: old codger.

Any USB keyboard will work with the PS3 Phillip, no need to shell out for a geny one.

Yesssssssss,fixed!!!

It whas the power supply adaptor(i think thats how one calls it in English,its the little box you plug into the electricity)I still had the one from my previous wheel,changed it and it works perfect again...:):):)...

Pfffffttt,a big relief mates...thought i broke my second dfgt ....:nervous:


will do some laps now to dubble check all works 100%...

Great racing last night guys, that's what private rooms would feel like! No punter at all and lots of fun. Glad your wheel is OK Spy.

Was only my first laps here so when I am more comfortable and take less penalties I might get the cam out, beware! :)

Highly recommend giving this event a go if you have not yet tried it.
 
Yep, certainly was alot of fun last night, even though I spent most of it facing the wrong way or getting those damned Barrier Impact Penalties. Had a nice burnout session with Horde though, cheers mate :D

And thanks to everyone for a great night on the track and in the PSN race chat, also glad to hear your wheel is back up and running Spy 👍

Hopefully see you guys tonight so we can do it all over again:)
 
Havnt raced in month.... so this rwd monster on N3s is probably the perfect way to get back into it :lol:

I was about to say "no" but I missed this schedule by 5 minutes. Duh.

you'll find it very easy to lose it, pick up penilties or spin out, so most will back off and wait in the first 10 or 15 laps keeping the racing close.

Makes it very tense with this beast on N3’s 2, 3 or 4 a breast going into turn 2 and 3 trying hard not to spin out or pick up a barrier penalties.

I'm sure you'll have just as much fun as the other guys.

If you cant drive then it defently will be like iceskating, if you know how to drive then this event is very fun with close driving :P

I'll try and get in at :17 throughout tomorrow. Finished my last exam yesterday so I finally have some free time after all that study!

Going to be rather rusty though, it's been over a month!

You’ll have fun GTP_Jostheboss. Most of us wait as its 20 laps when someone has a coming together with a barrier; it’s very nice to see the fast guys waiting for us slower one too, I for one have gained a lot of how to play the game from, EBK, Mr V, Spy, horde, Douqa to name but just a few.

Ice-skating it will be if you are not patient, don’t try to get on the gas to soon and squeeze the pedal don’t push. Oh and watch the braking zones, this beast on N3’s don’t like to stop even more so in draft, so brake early.

Hope you have fun I’ll add you to the #1 post list of names.

I've done a couple of races here yesterday and will be about in the next few days also 👍

I still haven't gotten the hang of 20 laps without a wall touch or two, sitting on about 1'14.8 in the TT.

I joined at :47, just had a great race with decho_! Side by side, each driving a different line 👍

Great race to get back to racing with :)
