Welcome back

Apparently both Rumble winner videos on Youtube have a massive amount of dislikes, Charlotte moreso but even Jey Uso is getting more dislikes than likes

New Daniel Bryan continues to be the most timeless gimmick in Pro Wrestling. I miss him :(

The Cena simps internet may hate Jey but the live crowds still love him.

Talking of Cena, is he getting a bye into the Elimination Chamber or is he actually going to have to win a match (for the first time in about a decade) to qualify?

John Cena is already in, he just had to declare for it at the Royal Rumble media scrum apparently.

Though the fact the Elimination Chamber was already just a thing with not even a confirmed prize yet highlights a worse issue that the match isn't even just its placement is wrong. It's just the Royal Rumble loser bracket if its only point is to find the other titles challenger. God I really do miss Elimination Chamber being used as the General Managers 🤬 you to a bunch of uncontrollable wrestlers

Quite frankly this is the part of todays WWE I turn my brain off and not pay attention as much anyway. Long Term booking all the way through makes the period from Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania quite the slog. Nothing to chaotically spice it up like 2009s Road to Wrestlemania or a storyline actually progressing like 2019s. Its an MMA show at this point during this phase. Soon I'm probably gonna be like "wake me up when its Wrestlemania"

So Kevin Owens hates Sami Zayn again, Sami had an Elimination Chamber qualifier with CM Punk in the main event, Punk won and they shook hands after and then in came Kevin to hit Sami from behind and he then used the package pile-driver on him, and he did all this whilst wearing his 'Sami Zayn Forever' t-shirt.

Liv Morgan won the EC qualifier for the women's side beating IYO Sky but it was a DQ finish when Rhea Ripley got involved, The opening bit of the show was Jey Uso with an emotional promo, it was about 10 minutes before he spoke as his entrance just lasted forever! Its definitely a popular choice for the live crowd, Gunther interrupted and said that if he chooses him as his opponet for Mania then he will make ever day between now and then a living hell for him, Jey didn't choose last night and said he'll see Cody on Smackdown this week, Charlotte Flair cut a promo too and she also didn't choose her opponent and she got interrupted by Rhea, looks like Charlotte will be on NXT tonight.

Not too much else to mention from last night, there are two more EC qualifiers for next week with Lyra Valkryia taking on Bayley and Rey Mysterio taking on Logan Paul, Mysterio and Dragon Lee lost to The New Day with help from Logan, Penta beat Ludwig Kaiser. Its was announced that AJ Styles has moved from Smackdown to Raw.

I don't know if there will be any EC qualifiers on Smackdown, we still don't know what's exactly at stake in the Chamber matches yet either as the Rumble winners haven't picked their Mania opponents, they just billed as matches with potential world title opportunities at stake.

Smackdown tonight then. The show hasn't been great lately, its mostly because of the three-hour run time as it really does drag on and its affecting the show and not in a good way, we did have three-hour Raw's for a long time so we should be used to it but lately watching Smackdown has felt like a chore.

Drew McIntyre is expected to be on the show tonight, he wasn't on Raw after it was reported that he wasn't happy with how his Rumble appearance went and he stormed off backstage, I think his angry reaction did happen but I'm not so sure as to why. He was planned to move to Smackdown anyway so thats still going ahead.

Of you were wondering why John Cena is in the Chamber match without the need to qualify for it its because he is filming the 'Matchbox' movie in Hungary, he will be finished in time for the show but he won't make any appearances until the show

I think the problem is less the length and more Smackdown roster was still made not only for 2 hours but also tried to not have a lot cause Bloodline segments were going to take up a lot (granted they still ran into unused talent problems)

You would think the transfer window would solve this, giving them more wrestlers to fill up the slot but I think Raw took more people anyway which they really don't need it. Raw 3 Hours has been fine since the 3rd brand split.

Sadly looks like well have to wait for the next draft to see if this gets resolved

Drew McIntyre to Smackdown is confirmed, he will be in a triple threat match tonight with LA Knight and Jimmy Uso which is a chamber qualifier, two qualifying matches for the women tonight as well with Bianca Belair v Piper Niven and Alexa Bliss v Candice La Rae.
