Downgrade problem

I'm new here and couldn't find an answer using search, so I'm sorry in advance if it's been discussed already.

I tried to downgrade from 2.11 to 1.10 today, to glitch the Vettel challenges obviously. It's the only thing I need to gold, I have DS3 and I don't really want to go through this frustrating nonsense which has nothing to do with real driving.

I found out the oldest version I can downgrade to is 1.13. I'm screwed then because although I can bug out of the track, it respawns me back. Is it not possible anymore to downgrade to 1.10? Is there any solution I don't know about?

Last question, if downgrading fails, is it possible to give my save to someone who still can do the glitches so he would gold it for me and send it back? If so, I'd really appreciate someone's help this way. Thanks

Can't help with the first part, am unsure what the earliest point you could downgrade to is right now. Possible they have changed it recently. The second thing you ask, the only way you could send your save is to also give them your PSN account information. That is very risky, and certainly not something you could arrange to do on GTP i'm afraid.

If you have the original version of the disc - or platinum - it will go all the way back to 1.00 then you need to download a couple of updates to get to 1.10.

If you have a new copy of the game like XL or Academy Edition, then you won't get all the way back to 1.00.

And as for the second option, it's possible without giving out your account details - but we cannot discuss how on these forums, sorry, nor the third option for that matter.

Thanks for the replies. I have the platinum disc. And after installing the data before updates, it automatically threw me to 1.13. Then I installed the very first update, canceled the second and I saw I was already on 2.0 version.

Hmm, maybe I've only downgraded with the original disc then. Because I'm sure I've gone back to 1.00 with one of my discs. I have the original (not collectors/special edition) and Platinum. So it could have been changed, or I used the original disc - not sure.

I believe so, but cannot say for certain - most YouTube videos I watched of it stated they went back to 1.10 or 1.15, but I think I remember reading that they could have done it at 1.00 but didn't - though they didn't say why. I think because of the autosave/manual save button on GTLife/Main Menu screen if I recall correctly. But I'm not 100% certain on this.
