Downloading 'Full' Update File in Background

Has anyone else noticed their PS4 downloading the 'full' update for GTS in the background even after installing the patch?

I updated to 1.30 this morning and when I went to switch off my PS4 after playing for a few hours I could see that it had been downloading the full 38.5 GB file in the background whilst I'd been playing.

Is this normal, or is there something that I should be turning off?

Someone else posted that they had this. After the download it did nothing as it then likely noticed it was already installed. Cancel the download.

Thanks, it had just finished when I saw your post, and as you said it popped up cannot install. Wonder what's causing it to trigger the download?

Annoyingly it doesn't pop up to say it's started downloading, so I only saw it had downloaded 38GB of stuff after I'd been playing all afternoon and hit the PS button to close.
