thanks for the compliments guys.

and by the way,
i left the smoke "natural" in this one. i made the end of the smoke trail be the side of the pic.

you can tell because the smoke is thin and the smoke in the back is already clearing away or "evaporating" or however you want to say what it is doing. I was going really fast to even make it that long, i think about 80mph.

Guys the mustang and the cuda arent the only to photo's in this comp, although id go with the mustang 👍

p.p.s. mustang

what a D/A.................. sorry buddy but thos picss are the wrong posting format and the 280zx is def not a Muscle car.....................wow.now that jsut really sad

Always happens to me: I've looked at that car many times, and concidered to drift it, but I eventually changed my mind, NOW THE MOST FABULOUS PICTURE OF IT IS SHOWN!!!:drool::drool::cool::drool:

Still good to post it up...

...any comment on my new mustang in my \/ \/ \/ photoblog:S.....

Ok, I’m not going to quote you all... because its all of you.

Criticism is very much appreciated when it comes to my photos, but correcting my spelling is pushing it (please, I knew).

The only spinout was the regect (sorry blotto, just doesn’t look right) with the most counter steer, didn’t check the replay because I figured it was a silly argument, but I’m pretty I’m correct.

As for the pictures looking "generic" I would like for you to explain that comment, cuse I don't get it, but I would love to improve my photos.

And now for these awful "speeding up the replay" pictures.
What separates this method from the Photoshop method is that; well, everybody who can post a picture on here can do it. Ya know its not like anyone has an unfair advantage using it.
So far I have only heard "unnatural", I would predict unrealistic next, which is total bs, take a look at some real life drifting. Man some guys out there can get some crazy smoke trails going, it’s amazing. So in my mind, hell it makes it more realistic if done the right way.
But unnatural just doesn’t seem correct to me, there is no manipulating of the car, like trying to get a car going fast with the front wheels off the ground. All your doing is changing the background… a little I might ad.

Back to my pictures... hehe, well it was late but that’s still no excuse. They aren’t so good, so ill get some new ones, but the smoke is staying boys. Come on what would you picture seeing after a huge burly muscle car screams past you sideways... YOU’D SEE SMOKE and alot of it.

No offense intended.

Other:

Sorry but these aren't going to be ale to be used this week. This week's requirements are old american muscle cars and on city courses. They look good to me but just don't meet requirements.

to reply to buggymaster's long post,

if spelling "rejects" with a "g" is a joke, it's pretty lame.

what i meant by generic is that they dont stand out as good or great pics, just so-so, and they dont look like actual drifting to me.

and for the smoke,
yes anyone can do it, but it doesnt look real (for example, your pics),
yes you would see a lot of smoke, but not a 1/8 mile, thin, string of smoke from each tire, it would be a huge cloud of smoke pouring from the back (look at a real drift car drifting) which this game does not create (i wish it would).

Well neither one looks realistic, so who care? If it really doesn't look realistic, then he probably won't get picked or voted for. If you're worried about him getting votes for it, then you do it too. It shouldn't be illegal or whatever. I agree there should be boatloads of smoke, and also tire tracks, but PD hasn't seen fit to extend the realism to that part of the game yet. Go figure. Anyway, I'll get some pics up in this post in a bit, hopefully :)

Final Entry!

I chose this pic out of the three cause its at a different angle to what myself/people tend to use.

Honerable mentions...

some good pics this week. I dont see what the problem is with doing the "speed up the replay" technique, because everyone can do it, you can get more smoke (how can you complain about that?). The photo is still going to be judged on how good it looks, It could have alot of smoke but if the rest of it looks like crap then its not going to get the votes I would hope. In some pics it just looks unrealistic, like on a hairpin turn it makes it look like your taking it at 100 mph  its pretty evident where its being abused, and its nice to see some smart use of it to improve the picture as well.

wow quati good pic there, givin JMURDER367 a run for his money in my opinion. :)

MazdaRicer your pic is good. one thing you will notice is that the pictures look much darker on the computer than on the PS2, your picture looks like it expoits that. Experiment with brightening up the pictures in game, and you will eventually find the balance where it looks bright enough, but not too bright to look washed out. :)👍

I have to agee with you, 194GVan, anybody can use "the trick" to their advantage. It isn't like using level tools in Photoshop, etc.

FWIW, the hairpin was taken around 60mph in my "long trail" pic. Made it all the way through, then wobbled a bit into that straight and spun ut. :(

Tks a lot, Speed Racer 12 & 194G Van...

That time I've checked my image before posting! ^^
It's everything right as rules says!!!

Well, so, I think that speeding up replays is allowed again! [o=

Cya...
