Drag Competition - Final point standings posted!!

So I took the liberty upon myself to pick this car. Its mine. Yes I have an '09 V6 model in real life with a few upgrades and nicer rims.

Its in the New Car Dealership and this is more of a "normal" drag car to a degree. I thought I would throw a somewhat normal car out there instead of the totally oddball ones all the time ;)

Anyhow here it is:

Fest ive been going through somethings lately, havent had to much time for gt5. Hopefully things will turn around soon.

Thanks fest0r. I'm in shock I took 1st this time. :P Must be all of the other Jag tuning I've been up to this past week. Good job guys, all of the entries were within .060 or closer, which is some of the closest I've seen in a while. I'll try to fight the urge for BF3 and stick around for the Mustang round.

:lol: The rims are kind of alike... Probably the closest I will get to mine... I wish I could change the grille and eliminate the spoiler on GT though... Oh and get rid of the fog lamps... And a '09 fender emblem would be nice because both the V6 and the V8 both share the same emblem as its the 45th anniversary (a horseshoe with the running horse in it)

Ha, mustangs with snow tires are a pretty common sight up here 5-6 months of the year 👍

Well, you have the HUGE Ford plant out near Burlington up there. Fords are pretty common and you have more substantial winters than we do so I imagine so 👍

I would love to have a SVT/Shelby but I just dont have the money.

I actually picked the V6 over a V8 that were the exact same price. I didnt like the color of the GT (black) and the GT had almost 60k miles on it. I went with the 12k mile car in a color I liked more but got the smaller engine.

I actually tested this car a bit on a few circuits... its quick but handles about as well as a brick. It actually seems like a good car for drag racing as a sleeper. I guess we will see what you all turn off of it.

I still have to get with the previous winners to send the prizes. I am sorry for the delays with that but as its been the past month I have not had time to mess with GT much at all. Again I am sorry and congrats to everyone.

Also, thank you for everyone who has taken part in this series. We will do another but some things will change, the prizes will most likely be for the series and not per race and the series will be shorter.

I may want a few weeks of a break before starting again. Kenny and I will keep everyone informed and thanks again for your participation in our events :D

And jr still almost took home a top 3 finish.:lol:
