Drag racing Launch style

PM Me and ask
Been hearing a lot of heated debates on launching in a Indy Road Course drag race using Ghost launching vs hand brake launch.

I've personally raced both ways with the same result in each race. So I don't see how releasing 1 button is any different from releasing another.

I play on WiFi so maybe any difference the ghost launch is supposed to make doesn't effect me. So what about you? I'd like to hear any thoughts on drag race launching.

E-brake here but beat "ghosters" all the time. If you don't have a good tune, I don't care how you launch, you're going to lose.

What is your main drag car? The one you've tuned to "perfection"

Le Mans Quattro is my perfected car. GT-R can be faster but haven't nailed the perfect tune yet...

Yea I use my Le Mans if I want no competition. ACR Viper for some fun, and my Enzo if I want to piss people off with crazy comebacks.

I mostly use Hand brake launch, but have been testing the Ghost launch, and my 1/4 mile times are the same just seems like I launch right away. With brake launch there is a split second or 2 before the car goes.

Well, i dont like ghost launch, but if the other ghost launch i do it as well so it would be equal, but then again, we both could just run normal launch....

I use a combination. I use a ghoster but hold the E-brake until he goes transparent. Works well for my Escudo because I need to get the revs up into a range where the turbo works, then just let the 1050hp pull me up to speed.👍

Ahh, just releasing the handbrake when the car goes ghost works just fine, if there is a leg free server of course.

I always use E-brake launch on open starts, or a well timed reverse-launch always works well against walls like on La Sarthe :)
