Dream Car Championship in a GT LM Spec II

Good god, the issues. Bob tries to pit every lap when there's rain, so I have to baby him through it. He ruins the tyres for no discernible reason and brakes on straights. He's level 28, 130 wins or thereabouts, and quite cold. Though he somehow manages to stop dead, sometimes. What an absolute abortion of a race.

I've set up the car to be a little lower, lengthened the springs, opened the tranny up for top speed and increased downforce to max.

Any ideas? Doesn't look like he's going to do a single thing right today.

Did you change to rain tires? The easiest way is to borrow X2010.

Rain seems to make the ai drivers love to pit. Even in A-spec when you do a race the drivers will pit as far as i remember in a rain race at sarthe and monza. As for stopping dead.. i dont have a clue

I did sir, and I'd love to, but I'm very new to this. I've gotten very unlucky with the gift cards, too. Seems I win some kind of modified 350Z every. goddamn. time.

I got it in the end, the glitches worked for me, rather than against me. I saw the nurburgring was in the rain, so I put on the rain tyres, pre-race, none of the AI did, they had a sloooow first lap, then pitted, then I never heard from them again.

Still, Bob was running 12min laps, if that is even possible. Could have done it in a Lupo. Dream cars my arse.

turn pit strategy off. start him out with rain tires.

Don't forget that there are intermediate & rain tires: wrong type makes Bob pit.

If it's light rain and you are using rain tires, maybe he wants to try inters. See if he spins out too much on them, if he does you have no other option other than to babysit him and keep him on rain tires, cancelling "pit in" every lap

Ill agree! turning it off refrains them from pitting in longer races.

for some reason when doing the Dream Car championship when its raining, the A.I. drivers starts with race tires all throughout the 1st lap running like turtles and if you change yours to rain tires prior to the race youll be a lap ahead of them..... easy win!

but i have no problems with any of my Bobs driving in the rain. as long as you have a well set-up car and the proper tires they dont need baby sitting IMO....
