Well of course different slicks are different. But having driven Skip Barber open wheel cars on a pretty soft BFGoodrich compound I can tell you the softs in GT5 are too grippy.

You can try to replicate real life times on GT5 but the real world dimensions and physics will never be replicated in GT5.

Edit: Final details are being worked out as we speak. Sign up thread will be up soon.

EDIT 2: OP has been updated with new cars, specs, times, schedule, and rules.

I'm sure those BF tires were nice, but the loads on those tires are probably nowhere near what the loads are for big time racing series. The Cornering speeds and downforce levels for the types of cars in this series are really high. I believe in FIA GT type series, the tires are meant to last for a decent amount of time. And the grip is around what Medium tires can give in game. In Super GT I think the tires give an even higher level of grip and in game Softs are what is closest. Of course the downforce levels are backwards in game as well. FIA GT cars like these are nowhere near the level of Super GT's irl. But it's the opposite in game in terms of d.f. points.

Well, the point I'm trying to make is I'm not trying to replicate real life lap times. I am trying to replicate great racing and strategy 👍
