I'm sorry to be pushy, but I've seen a few challenges, including one of my own, fade away just because the judges didn't submit their scores. So, I guess I'm just trying to be proactive on this one.

Edit: One day, I'll learn how to spell! :dopey:

I know what you mean... I have selected judges for this, that are more active... So there shouldn't be much if any problems...

It should be noted that participants should not directly contact judges until after the results are in. This is to promote fairness. If I give my video directly to a judge, he knows who it is and will most likely, even if unintentionally, be biased.

But if you want to talk to a judge about why he got the results he did after they have been submitted, that makes good sense to me! :)

2 judges? We really need a new panel that is active and visits the site EVERYDAY. That way, results will be in less than say 5 days. I hope the other challenge doesn't turn out like this. DR, who were the 2? If it's confidential, then i understand.

I understand your concern, FI... However, I gave the judges till the 20th to have their scores in... It's the 21st... A lot of people are working hard in school and need at least 4 days to find the time to score 2 vids... I don't want people rushing their scores... It's something that should not be taken lightly.. Yes, it's only a game, but the contestants all put a lot of work into their entries. We (as judges) owe them the same dedication in scoring their performances thoroughly and honestly... There hasn't been a single GTP Challenge (or even GTPDC) that has gone perfectly smooth...

That being said...

I agree that we need to adjust the list of judges once again... This will be done very soon... I need to consult Thio, and get his opinion of the course of action... He has put so much work into GTP's Drift Competitions, and Challenges... I owe it to Thio to consult him first before any changes are made...

Yes, it is confidential... Especially when there are only 2 judges besides myself... Both judges, that that turned in scores, will be remaining on the panel of judges, to be sure... That's all I'll say...

I agree that its about time to update the list of judges. it wouldve been great to get all the judges to send in a score, but i know that can be hard at times.
I cant wait till the scores are put out.
