I was hoping to ask if there was to be any damage while drifting in GT4. I doubt they have it, but it would be cool if you could break a body kit or blow a tire. Its kinda funny how that happens.

this doesn't relate to damage due to drifiting, but how come there aren't any damage models in gt3? Just curious.

"One of the reasons it would be difficult to include damage is that, because Gran Turismo is a real driving simulator, we would have to consider damage to be real. I have dome experiments, and a very high percentage - maybe 80 percent - of crashes in Gran Tursimo will cause the car to fall into pieces maybe two inches big.

Not to mention they'd have to fix up the crash physics. It's funny how you ram into a car at 180mph but barely anything happens.

What I meant was specifically "as if you weren't even there." I'm not saying they should avoid accidents at any cost, I'm saying they should behave like real drivers. I'm sure you noticed the AI in this game interacts with each other and does real passes against each other, but not with you, they basically pretend you're not there. They do stuff like push your rear-end out at the entrance of a corner if you brake early, which would get you an instant disqualification in real life. Instead, he should move to your inside (or outside if inside is unavailable) and attempt to pass you.
Anyway, that's off-topic so I digress.

lol gt4 is gonna have a An AI system to it tho,,, like the computer is gonna learn ur style of race and box u out and good stuff thats what i heard

I hope you can turn up the agressiveness in GT4 as a prank on ur friends. U sneakily turn up the heat on them in the game and they get pummeled into the wall. It'd be funny.
