Well maybe you drift with Sporsts medium or hard, or maybe you're using 100 BHP, but too much throttle will spin you out.
Maybe you're using a DS3 so u can just lock it all the way and have insane angles. But anyway we are talking about wheels, so..:)

Maybe you're a bit too smug for your own good...I'm a CH junkie and I use a dfgt ffb 10..doesn't matter if its D1 fuji or the Tsukuba hairpins, always full throttle using the 86's, s.s. or not(p.s. they range from 140hp to 200+) w/ insane angles and my wheel locked
Maybe every once and awhile I apply the same driving technique to my 300+hp S2000 and 400+hpZ33
Maybe the problem is you're unable to compensate w/ whatever wheel you're using while full throttle, and so consider it unattainable

I edited the end of this, because I read it and it seemed a lil combative...lol...different strokes for different folks...full throttle can be over come w/ precise steering inputs and good weight transfer, and using the camber of the track to your advantage..once you get a certain rhythm its almost like you "feel" the corners that can go full throttle

I would like to point out that I do have full throttle alot of times. But not 100% of the time. More like 70, 75%.

you dont have to be combative, I am just stating my opinion. You might have years of expirience, but I don't. No need to get shoutie.

Either way, if you have a BTR, try drifting it with C/H, fully upgraded with high RPM turbo. It's a beast. You pretty much have to throttle control.
I am not saying this is true, I am not saying what ever you think I am saying, but I think throttle control is abit more advanced then smashing the throttle and just let the rear spin.

AND I would like to point out I always use insanley long gears, and always one gear above what I need, to keep the wheels spining and have alot of smoke.
In the right gear, for example second on the Suzuka East, I can slam the throttle, have insane angle, but not have alot of smoke, noise, or beauty of the drift. :sly: :dopey:

But your thread was questioning how get angle right? You're telling us you're having trouble getting better angle w/ what you're using..so would you not expect the answers to be contrary to what you're doing? I mean if what you was doing was effective, there'd be no thread...your throttle control and long gearing doesn't seem to to do the job(I've drifted w/ an rgt so I get the rr feeling) so trying pedal to the metal w/ more precise steering and a better sense of weight transfer may get you what you are seeking, is all..otherwise you're expecting the same set of variables to get you different result, which we all know what that is the definition of...:)

just going back to basics a little,

what actual speeds are you doing through some of those corners?,
What's good when you do vids is to leave the gauge display on the screen.

After reading through and see your videos. Let me ask you this. What is the set up on your wheel? Force feedback, is active steering on and is it set to simulation? Also try making your suspension and little softer. On the btr it seems really stiff. A bit softer suspension will give u a bit more control when going sideways thus letting you get better angles. The set up ultimately depends on your drifting style. Just keep tweaking it and see what works best for you. I find that i can get extreme angles 3 times during a corner but not though out the whole thing. its either on entry at the apex/clipping point or on exit. I will post up some pics if you want me to and you can check my youtube channel as well.

Hope that helped a little. Keep having fun drifting bro!

Hmmm I read this a bit more....you should ditch the long gearing and high rpm turbo, unless you're intending the btr to be a Wangan monster...2nd gear should only be a drift gear for sharp hairpins...if you're able to drift suzuka in 2nd w/out banging the rev limiter..you might as well get a tesla and 1 gear drift....once you let go of the delusion that a drift car needs a top speed of over 300km/h it might be a bit easier for you..suzukas corners should be @ 3rd gear or 4th gear, or both...a mid rpm turbo will balance it out so WOT doesn't produce so much torque @ high rpm(voila! No more rear end spinning out) soften the springs and adjust dampers so you're not just go-karting it(suspension set so hard it doesn't absorb the road)
And no, this doesn't stem from years of experience, just a realization that there's a big difference in car setup for highway pulls, from drifting setup, just like there's a huge difference in plowing a corner prostitute from making love to your one and only...a lil finesse is necessary...

One car i know that you can pump up the gas like there is no tomorrow is the S13. Thats only one reason why this car is very reffered for starters.

from much experience with the BTR myself, i highly suggest using a much lower top speed for your transmission and a low/medium turbo. the torque curve is much better for drifting. keep in mind of what we are doing here, we want to drift and making sure to keep those wheels spinning quickly without lag. Torque is the key here.

high turbo and long gears are for top speed.

Hey, try softening the springs in the rear. for example, i run 9.0 kg/mm in front and 4.0 kg/mm in rear. i also play with stiffening the rear sway bar. helps me get tons of angle with easy. My RX7 is switching directions from lock to lock with ease. i'm also on comfort hard.

throttle control. If you have a good lsd tune you can full throttle it through the entire corner and your car will just grip without it oversteering or understeering excessively.

Check.
Guys, should I basicly put Rigity Improvment, and have the body roll from the suspensions so I can control it?:dunce:
