Drifting to be added to GT4, and physics improved!

I would like to be part of a team. Since we get the game before you do, It'll give me some practice time since they changed the physics engine. AE86 for me though...

ain't no team gonna want me but i'm gonna be in a MR-2 and a 13 as a reserve and a levin and a trueno and an evo V.... ahh man i can see that the same thing is going to happen like what happened with GT3 (i have like 30 + cars that are strikely for drifting and i only am now getting the hangof it)

I don't know if you guys knew this but , the car designer on the GT4 team said they are HOPING to have aero kits,but he said it is
very unlikely to have them on every car.They are supposed to be bumpers,hoods,wings'spoiler,

if they have 1985 RX-7 (i presume they will) then that's gonna be my car they should at least have the savanna version..(sega GT does) wonder if the GT4 car will sound like mine, lets see how good of a job those guys do on the sounds

hmmmmm........if they have D1GP cars thennnnnnn...... I CALL UEO'S CUSCO/SIFT AE86!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and also I'll grab the 1966 Mustang(if GT4 has it) ans the Nissan Fairlady 240ZG(they have it, I've seen a screenshot of it). All are my favorite cars and since no one else named them before I did, I think I should get the cars on the team.

YES!!!! Its about time the designers thought of something like a Drift Competition. Now GT4 will be more competitive to the XBOX game Project Gotham 2!

I can't wait to hear more about how they will judge your Drifting score? Kudos system like in Project Gotham?

Anyone ideas of how they will set up this Drift Portion of GT4?
Like how will they score you? Or how SHOULD they score you?


Can't wait to challenge online and hold a drift competition once we figure out how GT4's engine will measure our performance.

Sounds like I learned to drift just in time 👍 Can't wait for GT4.
I ought to have my techniques nice and polished by the time I get it, hope there ain't THAT much difference though.

Well me too. But in teh Super Street article, he said more accurate drifting. I understood that as more accurate to real life. I have the article and read it myself and I feel that this game is only gonna be even more realistic. I trust it will be.

in the latest issue of game informer, the developer said that they wanted to get more street racing and body kits and thigns like that into the game, but they probably wont, thers already going to b 500 cars , if they include body mods for all cars, they wont have enuf space for more features, also, they are goin to improve physics and the smoke so it looks more realistic, also the Logitech GT wheel with 900 degree mostion is gonna b one helluva thing to drive with, it has more realistic force feedback so it'll b like a real car, too fast into a corner and u'll b fightin to turn, tryin to drift like that is gonna b hell
