Don't know what he was looking at but he wasn't watching where he was driving!
@RL_23 If you have a link when posted I wouldn't mind seeing your DoA photos!

Nice gallery @RL_23 - for some reason, I always get DoA and Dead Rising mixed up, so I got a bit more of a surprise than anticipated.
Indeed, the DoA titles' photo mode has everything to do with what you say and of course has been popular for just those reasons. Some good captures there.
I'm starting to post up other games too on Flickr. Previously as a member of a smaller gaming website, I had a good few galleries available from a variety of games, but the owner finally decided that he didn't have the time to maintain it as well as play all the games he likes. Thanks MeanElf I'm trying different games and their photo modes, but I like to public pictures only from any kind of racing/rally etc. games And yes, DOA is just like You say, created for this kind of shots, but still they have to put a lot more details in character models. When taking some photos I had to look for really good angle to keep character details really round and hide few imperfections like outdated hair model, bad collision detection or few body "glitches"

I still think it's a real shame how many games haven't made use of the screen shot function (on the PS3) or photo mode on current-gen. I know it isn't the prime focus for these games, but hell, it helps get the games noticed by a wider audience and feeds the happy hobbyist activities of those who like to take pictures of the things they see in games.
