Driving Force EX :/

Mate's skint had his for a while, and he's moving away so he gave it to me, i've always played the GT's on a DS so was welcoming the change, i know this is a really basic model but, it doesnt seem to calibrate effectivly and always seems to have a slight tilt, even when straight the car wont stay straight.

Anyone got one, or know how to calibrate it or to set it up effectivly ? failing this i've seen the DFP on play for 50quid, maybe i can trade this in for about £20 at Gamestation and then put 30 towards the DFP if its really really worth it ?
I'm looking to get a good wheel at GT5 release so the G25 or it's next overhaul version at Christmas time, so for now, should i stick with the DualShock or try to get this Driving Force EX working for me?

it seems to be, when trying to go straight, its like the motor has a slight click either side of being perfectly straight its hard to describe its' off by a few mm

I have one and it doesn't calibrate very well. You're often (but far from always)driving with a tilt, if you're unlucky it can be 45°. Only way I've found to reset it is to go off into the sand.

yes, that happens to me sometimes still not found a way to fix it but i just put up with it because it makes GT5P all that more fun.
