I'm having trouble setting up my DFP with my PS3. Usually when the DFP is hooked up to my ps2, it goes through its usual calibration (spins all the way to the left, then all the way to the right, the slightly back to the left *click* then slightly to the right *click*) process which takes about 15-20 seconds. However, when I plugged in the DFP to the PS3, the calibration process is all out-of-wack. Instead of spinning the wheel once to each direction, it spins twice and followed by blinking LED lights (sometimes both led's flash, sometimes only 1 flashes). It appears the wheel is having trouble calibrating/centering itself. Does anyone know if there is a special setup that needs to be done in order to get the wheel to work? I just dled GTHD a few days ago and am dying to give it a spin with the wheel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys!

Just to get it out of the way, make sure its not in the 180 degree mode (you can change it by pressing and holding; Select, R3 and the Right Paddle - upshift button). Other than that, I would try taking it back to the ps2 and make certain it still works as it should in 900 degree mode, if so then it may be an option in the GTHD menu to select the DFP and so on.

Yes it works fine on the PS2 and is in the 900degree mode. Just curious...when you first used the wheel on the ps3, did you plug it into the ps3 before you boot it up, or do you plug it in after (not sure if this should matter or not). I can't get it to work...what a sad...sad day *sigh*

So are you posotive that this new logitech wheel with the detached stick works on the ps2
and how much is it?

And would the clutch work?

If you are talking about the G25 with PS3, then yes, the clutch works with GTHD. I paid 300$ US shipped. The only thing is PS3 doesnt support FF like PS2.

Yes, the G25 does work with the PS2, except for the clutch and H-gate in certain games.

As for the PS3, and the G25, no idea.

its been awile so im just learning about the G25, If PS3 has no FF then im not sure id pay the money to change from my DFP to the G25 (or maybe pass on the PS3) but i would like to upgrade my wheel. i would love to play on line (i have lan hook up issues). i guess i will prob change to the G25, ill have to build a shifter pod to mount the shifter on my cockpit...oh the delema

Whilst we're on this subject, if the DPF works with PS3 does it work only in 900 degree mode or will 200 work too.
Reason for asking. I'll certainly buy the PS3 when gt5 becomes available, BUT I suck at 900 and cant manage a controller either. 200 is great for me.

AMG.
