Anyone know of an official list of controller lap times?

Personal Times...
Round 1 Silverstone - 2:07.619
Round 2 Brands Hatch - 1:24.338
Round 3 Spa Francorchamps - 2:10.579
Round 4 Circuit de la Sarthe 2013 -

Cheers,
Best of luck to everyone in final round.

DS3 times are typically slower than wheels only since a wheel registers quicker when turning and has fluid movements and inputs that a controller struggles to match.

3:29:050 at the moment and still room to improve :)

my aim is to be the top1 DS3 in my country hehe

I was number 11 in the USA last year for DS3. :) This year I have a G27 though, and I'm going for national finals. :)

Well at the moment, you are fulfilling that aim. 👍

Well done mate. :)

Thanks mate! I want to try a 28 ^^

That sound great. I can't do to the finals so I'll stick with my DS3. :)

I still have at least 1 second to find on the track but it's tricky to get it right ^^ sometimes I'm 0.5 faster than my ghost after 3 sectors and then in a single corner everything's lost. lol

Yes! But it's always a fun fight :) you're pretty fast with the DS3 too

Well, not this time, never catch that blue line of yours, just getting closer...
Who knows, maybe one day we both upgrade to a wheel and we meet at the finals...

I only ever managed a 3:35.8xx. I felt kind of bummed I couldn't get down to a 3:34 or 3:33, even after watching a breakdown video. I couldn't seem to match or exceed my ghost for chicane/turns 2 & 3 (Before Dunlop bridge) by a mile it seemed. My 3:35 time must have been a really good day. But yeah, the chicane seemed to be my time loser, where by the time I reached Tetre Rogue or Mulsanne, I'd be between 0.700-1.5s down. It wasn't only because of the chicane, but rather that whole sector.

Even still, I was within something like the top 1,500 or whatever, so that was still a huge achievement to me. Almost never have I been so low in the rankings like that! I think during the Chamonix rally TT back in the winter was the only time I did better in a TT, placing within the top 1,000 I think :D. Snow is my strongpoint in the game for some reason.

3:27,250 for Round 4... 408th overall 👍
I don't know if I'm the fastest DS3 in the world, but I'm totally the fastest DS3 in my country :D

Awesome lap time, would really like to see a replay of the lap or maybe post your sector times just for reference. I was aiming for a mid to low 28 but would lose half sec+ at Indianapolis and of course the ford chicane when i knew I was on a hot lap. Fastest DS3 time in the US was a low 28 so its very possible you have top world rank for DS3 pilot...congrats on the time.

That would probably be top 1500 nationally not worldwide, I had a 3.36.5 and was around 4000th I think,

Right, I forgot to throw that in. I was fully aware at the time it was my national ranking and not global. Still, not half bad for a controller boy! More and more I think I have some degree of potential to crack in to the top 100 if I had a wheel and practiced more.

I am 50th in my country, I am 10th with DS3 players in my country and I am 2nd with automatic gear DS3 in my country.

My lap time is 3.34:447

X button is for throttle
Square button is for brake

Thats my performance. I wish ı could have much more time to improve my lap time but I was so busy that days :(

Can't help but be jealous of this, unless you're lying! Using the very unsensitive buttons for gas/brake, and not taking advantage of manual gears, yet still being quite fast.

If you used to it is not too hard with that buttons. I got platinum trophy too in gt5 and gt6. In my country community I am famous with my own style and everyone knows that I can use X throttle button like R2 button. Yes true it doesnt give too much advantage but not too hard as you thought.

And moreover, I dont have DS3 I have sixaxis, the old controller

I did a 3:33.5 with sticks and auto, and that was only a couple of hours session on the opening day of the final round. I did not try again to better my time. UK#497
