This Drift Trial event takes place on the Autumn Ring Mini. Only Japanese K-cars are allowed, and there are no restrictions on tuning.

When I woke up and saw new DT's, my first tought was "what is K Car :lol: "

Any ideas and tunes for good K Cars are welcome 👍

Any Kei car will probably need a full power tune to do decent drifting. My two favourites are the Subaru 360 (RR) and the Daihatsu Midget (FR), but they aren't the best :dopey:

The Suzuki Cappuccino (FR) (as above), Honda Beat (MR), Mazda Autozam AZ1 (MR) are all RWD, there are a couple of 4WD options I think, incluing a Daihatsu Move.

You could of course pick an FF and drag it round on the hand brake :yuck:

I'v tryed now Midget (bit over 10k) and BEAT Version F '92 (12 103) :)
Got to try later 4wd's but FF car's I'm not gonna touch 👍

Yes and they almost don't need handbrake, just a bit but still.

Sarthe has wrong sections chosen. GTPSP Sarthe 2009 Sections are much better .

After half an hour I now got

8910 with Cappucino '95
9809 with Corvette Coupe '63 I'm doing quite bad on longer drifts :)

I like the new DT's very much I think it's something different. Good to see a broad variety of cars in the rankings for the Kei Cars. Gonna give it another try tonight.
Does anyone have a setup for the Kei Cars? I just installed all parts on the Cappucino and didn't change any settings on the first run.
 
My best was 13964pts with MOVE SR-XX 4WD '97.

I think I can hit 15k but that's it.

I bet FF cars take top10 on this, but I'm not gonna touch them like I said :lol: 👍

Got 101xx with a Beat `92, tried La Sarthe 2times and got 11203 with the V8 Vantage, can`t get online atm, bull... when you`re living behind the moon :-(

I'm now 14572 pts with it and can improve about 1k more :)
Those gear rations you can drift with 5th gear 3rd and 4th sector 👍

Tbh , the 11.4 k points were a miracle. I'm only doing 9.6 now :(

If I try CH/CM I won't ba able do drift I guess :grumpy:

With that car you should get atleast 13k :)
Just use 3,4,5 gears 👍
 
Normally is like this :

Sector 1 : 2000
Sector 2 : around 1.9k - 2000
Sector 3 : Around 100
Sector 4 : Around 4k - 5k

Just got 11189 with your tune, trying to improve. Looks good, thanks.:) Pitty I still can`t get online :grumpy:
 
Uhm....hello, even is this is my first post here, sometimes I stalk the forums in search of information, and I believe I'm not the only one hahaha xD

I think I'm not as good as most people here, but I can manage to win the events with Gold Times nonetheless. Although this doesn't apply to the Sarthe Circuit DT. Can anyone post a setup or a car that could help me out? I have literally spent thousands of Credits buying drift cars, tires, parts, and still....nothing. Only a Bronze Trophy. :\
 
I would really appreciate it. If you prefer to post your car and setup instead of lending it's fine too.

What bothers me the most is that I cleared the K-Car drift which I thought it would be WAY harder due to the lack of power, but I got it Gold after few tries. This one is really making me furious, I have more than 400 retries probably.
