Easiest and cheapest way to get a PS2 hooked up to a VGA input in my monitor properly

I would love to be able to play and try GT4 in 480p or 1080i (at least being able to see what the hype is all about) among other games that support 480p. The only option I have is my VGA input on my 21.5 inch 1080p ViewSonic computer monitor...I've seen things at extreme-mods.com but that seems overpriced.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for PS2 games on my monitor in 480p (the games of course that support it) to a proper VGA converter?
