I am here to help all you players with the American Championship series!

Everyone says the best way to win is the ford GT lm race car spec II. Well guess what! its way easier. Get a much cheaper gts-r team oreca, its a cheaper trade or find on the ucd.

Tune it up all the way and pace it up a few times. you lap the opponents believe it or not.

This is good advice for players who don't want to waste time leveling up a spec to 24 to win the ford gt lm race cape spec II.

If you cannot get this car then try the vette zr1 rm. Although its extremely hard with the vette because it requires constant babying. It breaks to like 220kph where as the gts-r breaks to 270kph. The vette has no control where as the dodge viper does. I think this is because your adding the Racing Mod to the vette and the viper is done by a professional company before hand. Anyways have fun!

Cheers:tup:

The Spec II Test Car can be used in a lot of events besides just the American Championship. Either way though, the key to winning is actually downforce. If you have max downforce it's really easy in any car.

I saw the Viper in the used car dealership and if I hadn't already won the American Championship I would by that car. I completed the B spec AC with the GT spec car. I'm trying to save money for the white FGT in the online dealership.

The key to winning is actually not downforce max. I've tried that with many cars for this race and the gts-r is the only one that can win and it doesn't need max downforce.

Idk then. I used the Spec II Test Car, completely stock, downforce at max, and it lapped the field 4 times at Indy and 2 times at Laguna Seca. Maybe there was different AI cars or something.

4 times is hard to believe :S And I'm putting up this thread for people who don't want to wait a **** load of time leveling up A-spec to 24. It's much easier to use a gts-r. And btw downforce max also for some stupid reason makes the car on its final gear accelerate to a certain point. Which is way before its maximum on reg downforce. Usually on 7th gear cars but it happens on 6 speeds also.

Yep. That's the car I used for several Championships not only American. It does serious work on Dreamcar Championship too. Nasty machine.

I did the same as you and got the same results . I tried the Cien, that didnt work. i got a tuned to the max GT but that couldnt cut it. So i bought the Test spec and voila Done

It's possible to do it in a Nascar

I managed to do it in Jimmie Johnsons Chevrolet Impala.

It's not easy but if tuned right is capable of getting the job done.

In A spec I use many different cars --team oreca viper I bought early on as its a favorite from past GT 's , but its wasn't winning in b spec for me ..so I bought the black Ford GT from dealer ..best value for credits I get so far ..I can win most any race it can enter .

I posted my frustration in another thread and finally last night i was able to complete the indy race using the NASCAR i had lying around. Mind you my BoB was level 21 when i first tried it and succeeded when i was halfway through level 24. thats the bobs level not my bspec level. it seems like he brakes less when he is around level 23 and level 24 he goes all out. do my advice is just wait till BoB is at least level 24

Ok so you guys are saying to raise your downforce and not lower it( not to the left but to the right)...

I killed the american championship with Cien on aspec... But for the Bspec I've used every car you've posted ( except the viper which ill try and get tonight)... And for some reason wither a 2J or GT LM always passes me.. I dunno Understand.

i just want to know how cars like a tempest can beat anyting round ANY track? i ve got a cobra. tuned with everything. and get beat by a car the size of a battleship and the handling to suit!

what class is your BOB that you're using? the 2J is fast on straights but slow around corners. Down force should be maxed out or at least thats what I did with the NASCAR I used and you must change your gear ratio. I set mine to max out at 360km/h and lots and lots of coaching. Pacing up when needed, and commanding him to overtake by hitting that button over and over again and after losing 9 times i finally won !!!

I disagree. RM'd ZR1 will win as well. So will the ford gt's.

The AI didn't stand a chance against a fully modded GT LM Race Car Spec II. Once you get the lead and pace up once or twice, it's all but over for both races.

Actually if you have the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car with all the mods and setup correctly then all you need is to hit the start button and Bob will win the race by himself. As a bonus, he can also win every single race in the Dream Car championship without your intervention using this car.
