EBGames Canada didn't have enough Anniversary Editions.

What city do you live in? I live in Winnipeg and I haven't picked my GT6 yet. I have it pre-ordered.
Dang I'm scared.

EDIT: Did you receive any codes for the Anniversary Edition cars?

I'm not saying where I live beyond Southern Ontario.

The receipt for my game came with a code which I assume is the basic 5 car pre-order bonus. I'm not opening up the game to see if there is a code inside because I think I should return it and buy an ordinary copy of the game elsewhere. I refuse to let EBGames keep my money when it could go to some other more honest retailer.

Though the store clerk said he's trying to "fight" with HQ to get more copies. I've held onto my pre-order receipt, and will get refund next Friday if I don't have good news from the store. I'm in no hurry to get GT6 as I've been a bit busy with work and I have a giftcard that I can use to buy the regular edition elsewhere.

Just an update to my post..i got to the store, said i pre ordered the signature edition of GT6...brings out the normal issue...im like thats not the one..goes back and brings out the right one..so i got a signature edition only by asking even after pre ordering and checking twice that it was the right one...maybe just lazy employees..

Something similar happened me during GT5 release.. I preordered and paid in full price for the $100 collector edition and when I went to pick it up a couple of days after the launch because I was out of town, it turned out they sold my copy to someone else. Had to wait a couple of days for new shipment to come in.. its so BS, especially since I already paid for the copy earlier.

Finally picked up the game and then they forgot to give me the chrome pack DLC..

That's a real bummer @Hastatus, I actually pre-ordered just this last weekend and picked up the Anniversary Edition this morning.. like everyone else it was shown as (LE) on the receipt.. if you at all can I'd do what @s0l1dsn8k3 is doing, hang on to your regular copy and give them crap (if you haven't already), buy another copie somewhere else, maybe they'll do something to get you a copy for next week.. if not smack it on the counter and demand your refund.. definetly sucks.. especially since it's the same price as the regular edition, and that was the only incentive to even pre-order in the country.

Anniversary Edition costs more. And yes, EB games stuffs up so it's obviously PD's fault.

On the flip side, the EB games near me had too many Anniversary Editions

When i went to pick up my copy, the guy went in the back & came out with like 15-20 anniversary ed.
I don't know how many ppl pre-ordered it where i live but if you live in the western toronto & surronding area give a PM & i'll give you the phone #. Maybe they have some left.

Hi guys, I just got my copy of GT6 and got the AE edition from EBGames. I preordered it like 3-4 months ago, also if you live in Vancouver and if want to get an AE version the store in Richmond Center has like 3-5 AE versions on their shelf. Happy Gaming!

Yeah, exactly what I got too. I haven't tried the code(s) out yet but it looks like it's what was advertised. Got the AE cover with the DLC paper.

Picked it up today, saw the box on the receipt that said "DLC PROMO: GT6 PS3" and thought it was the cars. Got home and after the twenty five minutes of loading and running the first couple races, I thought I'd try the code, it was 16 characters long, PSN takes 12. I called EB, to ask what was up - They tell me they did not find out until opening that there was no car code for RE, 'It was in the small print'. I could return the RE, but there was no AE.

I had no issues getting my pre-ordered copy from my local EB Games Canada. Walked in after work, handed over my pre-order receipt, and they pulled an AE from under the counter. The clerk confirmed the code for the bonus content was inside the case, as it was with my GT5 pre-order bonus. Entered the 12-digit code inside to download the content. The 16 digit code on the receipt is for the BMW lease contest, which I haven't entered (yet)

Honestly...I would really be disappointed if the ebgames I went too start shelving AE copies next week..they fully have extra copies

I think that 16 digit receipt code is for the contest to win a 2yr lease on a BMW328 online, via facebook,

identifying 60 cars, no time, I'm playing my delivered 15yr anniversary.

I got a 25 car pack , some other perks, but no added credits. No way will we all have all the cars as quickly as we did in GT5. the rewards for gold, is a mere 10cr. 3 hours in, I still have not enough cr for the Lexus LFA Nur edition. gotta get back to the game!

I must've seen more than 20 Aniversary editions on the shelf, come to think of it I didn't see a copy that wasn't an AE. This was at EB games in Timmins On.

Well it looks like I should be getting the AE after all. Yesterday I sent a message about my problem to EB Games website's 'store issues' and this morning I get an early call from a very helpful person: she said she had located a copy of the AE, was sending it to my local store and I would get a call when I could go pick it up early next week. I didn't expect such a rapid reply from a message. It certainly made my day to know that some people still care about customer satisfaction and do something about it.

Got mine, installed, got the blue cars and entered the BMW 328 contest, but wasn't there five more cars? Installed and works fine so far, up to license tests, grr, haste license tests. Brands Hatch is a lovely track, nice corners, trees, ups and downs.
