I have noticed Karsten loves the dark ?even practice he sets the rooms up as twilight so you cant see the corners as well, dont you like the daylight mate ? lol

For season 1 it's just 8 rounds! I had no idea of the interest in the serie and i have plans for season 2, like adding some tracks and other cars...

I've been doing my best to make the serie the best i can, it takes work, but if i'm successful people will stick and have fun so far all the tests we made were a pleasure so i hope all will keep this direction

Many ideas i have, and i already plan and test for the future

I just try to have a part of all race in broad light and half taking advantage of dinamic weather.

I have to agree with this, why would you put that track in. The cars are real slow and the straights will go on forever and there isnt room at all to overtake. Horrible track.

Me too, It was difficult at the beginning with GT5 to play in dark and to learn Nordschleife but now I think is pretty amazing that track... In fact I'm waiting the right moment to buy a Toyota GT86 in real life and go around track days in Monza, Vallelunga and finally Nurburgring maybe in 2015...

One of the reasons the nurb is there is that this being an endurance inspired serie it would have been weird not to have it.

The other reason is that i would like to share the amazing experience i had on gt with some friends; the game was out since little time and i entered an online lobbie after a few races i was the room owner. Time weather was a novelty so i asked the room and we agreed for 5 laps at nur. I do not remember the settings, but we were a clean drivers room, we started like at 18 and the race ended at midnight.

Racing on sucha complex track was awesome, all close to each other, we had rain in the lasty 2 laps and had to finish in the wet one following the others brake lights trying to get closer at each turn.

All in all it wasnt the greatest race ever but it was an "experience" something most of the people never try ingame.

After the race 3 racers said wow again and 2 left mumbling lol. We did it again this time longer, from sunset to sunrise, sunrise while driving at nur is something

I would just like you guys to try and experience it, do not take as a race where you have to be aggressive and try at all turn and you'll love it immensely.

Then in s2 i'll ask if peolple wants it or not. I want it althought i'll be probably last there lol

Just reaching the end of the race is an accomplishment and more rewarding than most win to me

Got some time to update the Topic.

Due to the great Interest i'm making a list of all the drivers that expressed interest in joining and that will be considered as reserve drivers.

I'll contact you all when Season 2 will start too, since we might reach a number making viable a two room serie. In any case reserves will enter using the car of a missing driver as a substitute in the team. So please make sure you have the cars, know them and to be around at the time of race and qualifies!

Hi Karsten, just a thought....... , as i noticed each time we are in a room waiting to race , you have to keep messaging people who keep asking you questions about what pp what bhp they can have , what aids , whats this whats that ? i noticed at the sarth practise race 2 you got very little practise time as you kept answering questions .
Maybe you could put up a drivers breifing report here a 1 hour before the race , that you could copy and paste the main settings for all the cars etc along with anything particular about that circuit that was relevant and penalties of this sort or another with shortcutting , just the normal stuff really , we could all read through it before going on track.
That way you could just tell everyone to look at the thread 1 hour before the race for all the relevant details , so you dont have to keep on messaging instead of practicing and qualifying , just a thought ................

just thinking about thay briefing thing, i know i go on a bit...... but you could make it a requirement that everyone who is racing that night has to read and like it or reply to it ? 30 minutes before the room opens ? or something like that , so then you know whos going to race that night, that will giive the you and the reseves time to know whats happening ?
