in real life i have a range rover , and i am a bit worrried about driving it at night , as i may get stuck somewhere if the tyres suddenly wear out ?

Just 7 finishers but we had disconnections...
Since the serie is to stop to the end we've started test on season 2 any drivers wishing to help is welcome and i'll value cars you guys would like to have added.
So far considered cars to be added are (in brackets the current status and opinion)
Acura nsx lm racecar (300hp very fast, but bad brakes, might be discarded to avoid crashes)
Gt-r gt 500 base (290hp great grip and df great brakes a bit slow on straight but probably too fast)
Z gt500 base model (290hp like gtr but more difficult to control)
Subaru impreza gt300 (300 or 310hp heavy, drives well, a bit slow on standing start, will shine in case of rain)
Let me know what cars you would like to get in!
Celica was suggested but i'm sure there's more!
8 different cars would be optimal but we'll see what we'll manage to balance out...
Still in season 2 with success penalty the field and cars will end being more balanced in all cases.

It would be cool to use all base models so everyone can choose number and colour (maybe if some privateer joins can take a sponsorized model...)
Are we going to have a couple of weeks of testing before the beginning of season 2?
So we can choose the car wisely and balance them better...
Also how is going to be car selection for season 2? Reverse classified order in the final standings?
If so, how will work for people in team?
Example: Karsten will choose car before gprili, so the car Karsten will choose must be also used by gprili if they're in the same team?

Well... that is my idea too mate... this formula works (with success penalties will work even better) so don't make it more caotic
Add the Subaru IMPREZA GT300 Base Model '08 and there we go 👍
We have 5 cars, so we can make 5 teams composed by 3 drivers or
5 teams composed by 2 drivers + privateer drivers in "sponsorized" cars (original livery cars)

trouble is with tuning prohibited, you can't add weight to the car so how would success penalties work?

Maybe it wasn't clear i'm just considering the impreza plus the other gt300 cars i posted. Probably just the impreza will get in but who knows?
-i'm sure drivers on the same team will agree to a car together. And yes we'll have one or two weeks to test.
Latest team will choose car first.

I'm in the camp of I don't feel you need to change to much tbh.
Power penalties would help keep the championship closer but I think adding the Subaru is a good idea providing the 4wd isn't to powerful (but I guess the power penalty would help if was)
Maybe some fine tuning needed but overall it's been a pretty successful series so far imo.
How does the HPs work in the Megane series?, is it keeping it close?

im absolutely gutted 
things were looking good and i reckon i could have fought for podium, then disconnected. ARGH!
As with next season, im undecided yet. it's been enjoyable but race cars are not my speciality, i prefer stock 1 makes. trying to keep up for hour and half is no fun

Btw many say season was good yet most won't race in season 2 lol i fear this might end soon at this rate +_+

can we have the racing at the weekend, racing on monday is tiresome at best for me, not sure if anyone else would like to but just an idea

That could be a good idea to let people know about it... and you can take provisional sign-ups to be completed after this champioship has ended
For me is best to drive on monday... no wife problem about going around in the weekend

I would have a free monday and i have nothing better to do lol
Also a season would take ages to complete and i fear too many would drop out of the season
