haha, we are in a forum dedicated to gtplanet, silly duffa! The comeback I adopted was very relevant and obviously quite crushing.

Oh and i thought you werent going to reply to me, haha, Ron mate, the only thing that matters is that I am a much more talented Gran Turismo driver than you are, its as simple as that mate. Not much else I can say, to beat you by 7 tenths of a second in a sub 2 minute time trial just proves my dominance over you, You have no real need to be here, and you have nothing over me.

enough with the d**k measuring contest, every GTPer knows you're the fastest driver to grace this forum and no one is taking that from you, but it means nothing if you cant respect your fellow GTP members.

Well he has more manners - which is something that is more useful in....er......everyday life.💡. Honestly, I used to respect you, but after reading your posts, I was always thinking "ohhhh he just went there". Lap times do not maketh the man - and they only make up some of the racer. Yes you have been antagonised, and I partially understand why you are being so hostile (I would've reacted to the initial post from drama kyd in much the same way) but saying other peoples importance in this community is less than yours because of driver skill goes over the edge and then some more for good measure. You need not apologise again (it would be the third or forth time), but everyone involved just needs to take a chill pill. 👍

This is the second or third squabble withing this EYS sub community and it's honestly making me and a few other people quite tired. It does not bode well for EYS2 (possible drift rounds? I think most grippers need a bit of a brush up on drift skill - and it would add something new).

On topic, I like the idea of a HSR race as the round rankings would be Uber close and a few places may be changed before the onslaught of the final round. HSR for the theatre, or Eiger for the skill.

Well i'd really like to keep the thread open, but if this continues I may close it. I'm asking again for any disagreements or arguments to be discussed via private message please. I really don't like arguments in the thread, and obviously many others don't either. This is meant to be a friendly time trial competition where we encourage others to try and improve and hopefully to improve people's times. At the moment it seems that some people are racing for sheepstations, which is not really what we want. Yes we want it to be competitive, but not at the cost where competitors put each other down. Come on guys.....

I'll be having my second session later tonight where hopefully I can improve.

I appologised to the members of this competition like drama kyd and orsg, that was a big mistake to disrespect them like that, i sincerely regret it. But Ron, mate I couldnt care less about him as he doesnt belong here, he is just some old looser who thinks he owns the joint, thinks his very presence is enough to persuade people. This is all just a bit of fun. Its amazing how people take things so seriously, when its just computers LOL

After 30 minute second session I managed a .783. I stayed 3rd in the rankings. I know there's more time left, I was 0.2 ahead of P1 until I made a mess of the 2nd to last corner. Oh well, i'll keep pushing on.👍

This is no-way to talk to eachother and calm down. Ron and Dan take it to PM if you want to argue. This competition is nearly over now and would be shame to close it with only 2 weeks left. If it carries on like this, its competition over.

Get on with putting laps in and not putting eachother down

I agree with Jack, i've posted 3 times asking you guys to cool it. Please do it, we've put a lot of effort into making this competition work and happen and it would be a great shame to see it closed. It says in the first post:

Standard Clean OLR:
* 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
* rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
* no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
* if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
* no cheating of any kind, nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules.
(This includes conduct in the discussion thread. Administrators of this series reserve
the right to suspend or expel racers from this race or series if these guidelines are
breached - think before you post)
* save your best lap/ghost replay

DUDES - I just realised we haven't had either the R35 GTR OR the F430 for this comp. Seeing as these two are considered up amoung the main cars in the game, I see no reason why one of them shouldn't be driven for next week. GTR or 430 at HSR FTW!

Admittedly I don't know what the composition of the first 12 or so races were, but I was gonna suggest if we use Eiger, then why not the Integra Type R, as it's not overpowered and suits it quite well? I just think that high powered cars on Eiger are a little silly, esp. with the amount of air one gets on the yumps - you would trash most cars doing that...

Man, I so wanted to let this go mate, just full of hope and wishes that you would sober up or simply see the light, but alas, here we are.

I don't want to hear that I'm not in this series because of course you would be right, I don't want to hear that I'm sticking my nose where it don't belong, I know I am but for some deminted reason I actually like having you around I very much like the gtp community and have kept my coments within the wrs because that is what I think needs to be square but I have a few words for ya.

This road is so so very tired man, I saw your first post here that got it started and you do have a point(ware a hat and maybe no one will notice ) I'm quite sure your replay is still on the online board and all that but it's not accepted in these rules. I also got the fact that you were simply blowing off some steam but damn man, ever think there is a time to stop? your apologie's where not sincere or else you would have stoped. I feel your frustration and I think if this was isolated it would not be a big deal. You just have to keep on doing it. Common Dan, there will come a time when all are very tired of this act, maybe not in the cyber world of video gaming but you do have a real life don't you? I'd hate to see you're wife's frazzled look after you act this way for 10 years or more

Flame me if you wish but I've been on your side through all your crap and even I have limits. If it were me and you, you could have at it for years on end because it don't bug me so much, but stop and think that others may actually be offended by your arrogance mate.

I respect 99 percent of gtplanet members, the only person who i have lost all respect for is mrp, everyone else here is fine, i think i have nothing else to say anymore for a while, i have 2 infractions and i dont want to be kicked out of gtplanet now, so for quite a while i will simply be posting times and replays, no descriptions no nothing, for at least 6 months, goodbye
