This leader board is freakin stacked now. A mid top 10 time yesterday is now relegated to 15th! Great work guys 👍

Moose is obviously watching, he beat his old time by .03 (I think) and now is 0.014 seconds off of Carl, and Dan 0.027 behind Moose. And then a tie for 4th?! This is insane!

These times are as closer as NASCAR qualifying times, but with braking zones, right hand turns, bumps, and on relatively slick tires. I knew it would be close, but it is only Tuesday!

I'll have another try later. Hopefully I can squeeze in the top 10. At this point, every tenth is worth about 3-4 spots on the leader board

Wow! A .512 T1???? SMOKIN'!!!!

After that it was hopeless because it was almot impossible to beat my T1, so every single lap after i was in the red to start off with.

EDIT-54.400 19.500 T1 LoL! Moose is .456 but unrealistic engine breaking.

This is really enhancing my skills.(The WRS too !)
Back in may my best time was 55.785 and now I'm down to 55.139 (Almost into the 54's:D)

Sorry Tizz, I already pushed you out of the top 20 with a 54.567. I think there may be a little bit in it, but not much, only spent 15mins to half an hour or so. Apparently I just found out my controller is broken too, it can't calibrate to any PS3 with the USB cable plugged in. Once I take the lead out it will calibrate when I press the PS button. I tried it with my brother's lead but it does the same thing, so it has to be the controller. This is not so bad since I can always turn it on for my PS3, but now I can't play 2-player NBA games on my brother's PS3.

Nice 👍 - i think it's time you were bumped up to Div 1 !

The competition in this leaderboard is ridiculous!! I went to sleep 20th, just woken up and checking the board in bed and im 24th

After work i shall try again. Might buy some red bull on the way home :D

Might buy some red bull on the way home :D

Good thinking :sly: I will do the same

Last night I was trying to put in clean/solid lap while I was half awake and could have really used a damn Red Bull to lift my senses. I don't know how many frickin times I fell asleep at the last corner and lost a tenth or more due to being so googly eyed :dunce:

Some say that he's an ultimate AI trapped in the PSN network, and that if he really tried, he could finish GT5 in a day. All we now is that he's not the Stig.

Or is he?

Yo, ran 2 sessions so far with this one, both hampered by an injured left big toe, sustained 24 hours ago. I'll wait for it to heal fully before I'll attempt the 53, which is possible with a .45 T1, low .6/high .5 T2;)

Kor/Joker is unbelievably talented, that was clear when he first entered the matrix with his stellar Ferrari F430 lap at Eiger Nordwand, a previous Wrs combo in which Timpaq claimed the overall honours.

Timpaq-Dan-Fak_evil-ramon not many others.

.. Timpaq ..

Is my name that hard to type? :D (j/k - you may type it anyway you feel suited.. 👍 ) and btw, there is many many many many equally fast guys out there as can be seen here now too 👍 (just saw the leaderboard  - good job running the GTP flag all) Joker is just one of them.

D1? Nononono!:sly: This is a muscle car, my initial pace is bound to be good, but then you D1 guys find your feet and flog me. Or, like in the case of WRS58, I manage to keep my pace up, but still only because it's a muscle car. I see you've already re-overtaken me.:sly: I'm down to 27th now :dunce:, I WAS in 19th last night.

, that's the funniest post I've read in ages.:D:lol:

Slight improvement to 54.480 today.:) This may end up being the lap I submit with, I was surprised at how neatly and well driven it looks, but I was perhaps a little narrow on the entry to the final corner, and my exit speed from turn 1 could be improved. I have seen a 19.51x at T1, but this lap was a 19.57x. Suzuka East always makes you think you can achieve that perfect lap but it would be sheer luck if you did, preceded by much frustration.:sly:

I know all about the frustration side - another 20 to 30 laps last night yielded just one lap under 55secs and it was slower than my best on the leaderboard so you know it was just a hair under 55.

I've watched the top 5 replays and just don't see how they keep the car in check at the speeds they maintain. I clearly have an issue on the last turn because at the start of the next lap most any ghost pulls away from me before the very first turn, but I've seen a few 19.7xx's at T1 so I'm not doing too horrible there - it's basically every turn after that which is killing me. :)

Man, Moose just put up a really strong lap, especially his run through T1/T2  Looks like he easily could have dipped under a 53 had his run through the last corner been a bit stronger.

I myself might call it quits on this combo, unless I decide to do a session tonight. I've got work the next two days and with the GT5 demo coming out on Thursday, I think I'll probably have a hard time pulling myself away from that :sly:

Make sure your run into the home straight on the start of your flying lap is as fast as possible. Just by running very wide on the final corner on a warm up lap and then hogging the grass on the inside you gain alot more speed and probably will take 0.1 off your time straight away. 19.7 aint bad buts its already 0.25 off the pace.

Only gave one try the other day and i did a 19.5x T1, but the rest i find a bit problematic! The reason is that i cant hold the car in 2nd gear so i do all the track in 3rd! 54.5xx should be my limit in this car:ouch:!

EDIT: Hope HSR and the drift sessions come soon so i can beat you guys !

Ok Joker just broke the time travel barrier, he probably went back to an earlier time somewhere on his home planet so hopefully we wont be seeing any more of him.

As for me i'm done, all you guys at the top of the leaderboard are crazy you guys should seek help.

Looks like EYS2 is much tougher than EYS1!

I still haven't got any time to run any session yet. Hopefully I can run a session or two on Saturday...

Yeah, but I'm .25 off the pace at T1 and 1 sec off the pace at the line - guess I should focus on that final 30 secs of the lap instead of the first 20. I hear ya about setting up the hotlap and that's almost as bad as seeing a good split come up - I just get nervous and screw it all up. :)

I'll be at it again tonight - I really think I'm close to my limit right now and I have Paulie and Ren a good .5 ahead of me. Maybe I'll go write Santa a quick note to see if he can help me with a small miracle.

I still want to know who KOR_Joker is - that guy is UNREAL!!!!! Maybe he could be my mentor.

@ KOR_Joker   👍

I wonder what his username is here on GTPlanet, as he obviously must visit the EYS threads to see where we are going from round to round. I've also seen a guy by the name of (must be the same guy) KOR_The_Joker with a Finnish flag - although the user name KOR_Joker is registered in America...which makes me wonder exactly who the guy is and where's he is from :odd: Maybe it's Timo in disguise  But seriously, this guy is probably one of, if not the most talented drivers in GT period, regardless of what track or car he using :scared:

@ TA- Talent shows itself immediately. (quote that )

A 10 min TT would show talent. A week long TT shows persistance, and determination. Impresive nonetheless 👍

 Well I can definitely say this combo has tested my persistence, determination, and sanity more than most :dunce: As I've probably already piled up more time doing this TT in two sessions than I did in total for the qualifier  Although I must say that within about 20-30 minutes of each session I probably would have been best to call it a night, as my senses (mainly vision) were far from being up to par after that short amount of time for some reason :odd:

I'm definitely not as talented as some of the guys here at Suzuka East...as my biggest problem is being able to tie all three sectors together with solid splits. I could do 150 laps straight with every lap having at least 2 very good sectors (whether it be the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd), yet fail to put all THREE together for strong time in that session...which is pretty sickening really, especially considering I can put 3 stronger sectors together around the full track in a much shorter period of time...go figure

All I can say is, bring on Fuji next week please :dopey:
