I downloaded your replay ripping silk so I'll check it later unless anyone else wants to do it before.

Still some time to be had for Dan as I got ahead of his ghost sometimes in T1 but messed the lap up in T3 and only gave half an hour last night and half an hour last week.

I dont get it.... i seem to be getting worse and worse at gt5 i dont know why, cant get within 0.75 of this race and i just tried the old IFTC race 1 combo again and im 0.25 slower than i was 3-4 months ago, i just dont really enjoy playing like i used too.

I has been very busy at work. Had only 2 short sessions on this combo. I am not satisfied with the time 1'07.620, but have to submit it now.

I think Boy__Racer's lap might be a foul. Three wheels off the track at two points just before the finish line.

Above pic looks clean to me, but I wouldn't mind to take a look at the replay myself and check it out. I learnt a bit of a lesson from last round, don't jump to declaring a clean lap too quickly.

The first image I could possibly pass as clean, but the second image...
The interlacing from the video camera I used to capture the images has effectively made the white line wider than it actually is. when looking at replay it does seem more obvious.

i cannot believe that lap was not red flagged Marky, i've seen many laps at Eiger with more vehicle on track get pinged for an invalid lap than that one!!!!

To me its clean im still on the track at all times, so if its DQ'ed its very harsh, i agree with the DQ of the last race but this would be harsh.

Its definitely not a dirty lap driven by Marky boy, there is a clear gap between the white line and the grass, almost certainly did the car never go off this thin strip of tarmac, looking at those images anyway

I certainly agree there is a strip of tarmac on the outside of the white line.
If we accept all the tarmac as being part of the track.. then all is well.
If anything outside of the white line is 'out' then the lap is out.
I'm happy to call it clean if thats the general consensus, which it seems to be.

I checked markyboy's lap on the dvdrecorder and it looks like there's a gap from the inside front wheel (NSF) and the white line. The back wheel stays on the white line throughout.

I remember in the IFTC, sphinx caught me just off the white line for a frame but still on the tarmac. In the race he outlined that on daytona, the white line was the track. I don't see it mentioned here in the rules so it seems clean to me.

I think with regard to Boy__Racers it will be classed as clean if only for the fact that it doesn't specifically state in the rules the outside the white line is off the track. For the next race , or the next series I think this part of the rules will need to be tidied up. Although it is generally accepted at every other track (Such as Daytona, Fuji) I don't know why there is such debate at this circuit.
