EL_ZISSOU submitted a time too late.

All very close times, and a real mix up on this leaderboard this time.

Thanks mate it's the least I can do for my fellow NTSC racers.

Also, I can't wait for the next one, and I figure the quicker we get these checked, the quicker you and Mad can come up with the next one

BTW: My initial thought on this combo couldn't have been more off the mark.
I thought as a pad user this one would be tough because I figured the Corvette would handle like the beast it is, but it was actually very solid considering it was on S2's. In fact, if anything, I thought it actually had just the right amount of understeer, so I could just concentrate on following the racing line and didn't have to worry much about feathering the throttle. Once you figured out the right MPH marks for entering and exiting both turns, I found I could pretty much just mash the accelerator button

Yeah the rules make sense, but you know, logic states that I completed a valid lap time within the designated time frame, I should be given due recognition and be included in the results, the whole pm submission thing is just a formality, almost unnessesary when the time is there for everyone to see, online and in this thread, but I do understand I made a mistake and because it's a first offence, a person should be given the benifit of the doubt, that's just my opinion

I'm not in a position to decide anything, but would like to share my opinion.

I have to support holl01 on this one. The PM is just a formality as the replay is there with a time (even in the title). However, I would still support the need to sent the time in a PM in the future. But let it just be a warning for all of us this time?

It's really not neccesary to exclude holl01 on this one.

Your opinion is welcome. Its my job to uphold the rules as written. If i am overuled by Mad94d (or possibly public opinion) then so be it, but I don't believe its my place to interpret the rules as i see fit.

Dan is indeed the class of the field, and I so hoped he would PM me with his time.
Nonetheless, his protest has been lodged and it will be attended to in due course.

Fair comment, but somewhat inprecise in many ways, 'handled different', well there hasn't been as far as I know, an incident like this in the enhance your skills championship, so that comment is an incorrect one as no one has been 'handled' in the first place for a non submitting offence. No offence taken though, was just pointing out a blunder in your comment.

I almost forgot, great time mate! I haven't checked the replays of the top 5 or so, is that the 3rd or 2nd quickest clean lap in the world rankings?, i know the other 50.3xx times were both dirty

Correct. I asked Madision for a ruling. And he agreed with my decision.

Slightly careless and slightly unfair i think but rules are rules and you had days to submit your time holl but im sure your come back and win every other race so i doubt it will make a difference.

Same with the iftc, you did all the hard work but then dont submit.

Any idea of when race 8 will be posted?

If you got it ages ago, it makes me look a bit dim, but if you only just got it, well done.

My parents have given me the volvo. In my defence however, it has the same block as a Focus ST and cost 90k AUD new because it had the limited sports suspension pack (a real rarity in Australia). It was also considered (by car journalists) to be the first cool volvo. It is P plater legal (NA aspiration).

ah close....but no cigar - i wish. T'was the 850 ESTATE my friend. The sedan was not cool, the estate was - remember the BTCC estate? It was because it was more aerodynamic than the sedan.

You are right Dan...i wrote it because you said in your first comment :"Let me get away with it"...i interpeted it the wrong way ,sorry for that...it whas very early in the morning when i wrote it and obviously not quit awake yet......

should have been much closer to your lap,as especially comming out of the last corner towards the finishline,i found a ever so slightly faster exitspeed......
